Verry strong and sturdy.
Would recommend over a paperclip, for sure. I would say that the only downside is I found them a little chunky for what I wanted to do. So if you're not planning on stacking documents or the such I'd recommend it.

Sturdy and Strong
These bulldog clips are exactly what I wanted. Great for clipping glued cloth together while drying. As well as more usual uses.
