Is this just a regular aftershave cologne spray, or is this the actual aftershave lotion?

It is regular aftershave, although it is not a lotion. There is also no spray on the bottle. Several splashes in the palm of my hand and then I rub it in. It smells great.

too many unnecessary chemicals are added? why?

Did everyone else's bottle come sealed in a plastic wrap? Or, sealed at the opening? Mine came with neither making me think I got a returned item?
