My daughter loved this mouth guard. Molded fine and its not too thick to where its irritates her. Cant talk to the flavoring but you can sure smell the synthetic flavoring. So as long as she likes it, she is wearing it and seems to have good coverage in the mouth to be 100% effective. At 9, she has the adult size now and it fits perfect. She has a big mouth. Same goes for my 11 year old son. The adult size seems small for an adult. It didn’t cover my back molars when I tried it out ( before boiling)

My 11-year-old son, who is about 5 foot tall, uses this mouth guard. It is on the small side so I would size up if possible but he will use it this season and it has gotten through just fine. He says it still taste good too!

Do not buy. Our mouthguard fell apart after ONE use. The inside liner started coming up and was breaking off. Very unsafe to put in my child’s mouth as she could swallow the pieces that are breaking off. Huge waste of money.

Good mouthpiece for football. My kid liked the flavor of it. Make sure you follow the directions to boil the mouthpiece to fit it to your childs mouth and teeth, it is very important to follow those directions otherwise it reduces the effectiveness.

We have used these exact mouth guards for our son for the last two flag football seasons, though this year is the first year we ordered online. When we started using these our son was age 4. We used these when he was 5 and will be using these this year when he is six. My son loves these, the only issue we have is my son chews on the end, like every other kid on the team, when they are waiting to play for more flavor release. For those wondering, these are boil and bite which work fine,even when my son was 4. This. Rings me to the second smreason I felt.complelled to write this revoew. I have seen a number of reviews and answers saying these are for toddlers. Toddlers to me are ages 1.5 through 3 years old They should not be needing mouth guards, and if they do tthey would be for medical reasons, not sports. With that said, when mine arrived I thought dang these are small. So I went to Dicks, where we have gotten these same mouth guards in years past. As you can see.in the pictures, the mouth guard I received.from amazon (the one on the left) is the exact same size at the youth ones of this brand at Dicks which fit my son. I feel these mouthgairds are true to size and not meant for toddlers. However, if you have any questions on if they are save yourself the hassle, pay more.money and go somewhere local and buy what you think will work.

We've reordered again. Daughter loves it. So tasty that she likes to chew on it but also protects that teeth.

If doing the boil is your thing it's a good product. My son couldn't get it to fit around his teeth to make the indention. He did not like it.

Strong raspberry smell as soon as you open the package. The molding process is easy to follow but it is a "gel" mold so it's a little gooey as your child holds it in their mouth. Fits my 9.5 year old well even though it looks tiny in the package.
