Outstanding value!
I just assembled this as a gift for my wife and took it out for a test ride. I am very impressed with the initial quality for such a low price. Overall, this is an outstanding value. It is not a heavy duty true mountain bike; itโs more like a hybrid that can handle bumpy gravel roads or trails. Also, I doubt their rating of 1200 W for the motor is accurateโฆ It feels to have about the same amount of power as another E bike I have with a 750 W motor, but still it will get up to about 25 miles an hour and should have sufficient power for anything my wife will need. It also has a pretty big removable battery (which should allow a long range), decent Shimano components, a comfortable fully adjustable seat, front shocks, mudguards and a headlight. All in all a lot of bike for the money. Best of all my wife and I are both tall (Iโm 6โ2โ) and I was able to adjust everything for a comfortably ride. Time will tell if it is durable, but so far I am very pleased.

BUYER BEWARE!
Update: February 2, 2025 After purchasing another more expensive e-bike with a similar motor and bigger battery, I noticed the more expensive bike could only get up to 25mph tops. I scratched my head thinking I got ripped off by the more expensive e-bike company, as the heybike could easily get up to 28mph (as the website and e-bike display shows). After riding the heybike again to check speeds, I felt as though I couldnโt be going 28mph. So, I downloaded a speed app on my phone and tested the heybikeโs speed versus a third party appโฆQuite a discrepancy between the two, as the heybike showed me riding 28-30mph vs. The third party app and my new Garmin watch showing 17-18mph. BUYER BEWARE!!! The good: Easy to assemble. Comfortable to ride. Display is very nice and easy for a beginner to put together and ride for a starter bike. Fun ride! The bad: I am missing one of two handlebar screws, a usb cord, and I paid extra for fenders and did not receive either. I also may have an extra part that I notice wasnโt an item I should have received on my parts list.(?) I am hoping it didnโt fall off in transit. Initially the breaks didnโt squeak, but after using multiple times, the breaks do begin the squeak. There is a noise I hear when getting up to the higher speeds with the bike, although Iโm unsure what it is. I called the number provided to reach hey bike support (when I received the bike on Saturday) and they said Amazon would contact me on Monday during business hours to remedy the issues. Still no word to date from anyone. I will update as soon as I hear from someone regarding missing parts. Update: I received the fenders a week later. Very cheap and didnโt provide all pieces required to put both fenders on. I had to purchase aftermarket pieces to fit the front fender on. There is also no video showing how to put the fenders on. I had to search the internet to identify some similar fenders to see how they install them. Easy to put on after all said and done. Overall: The fenders arenโt worth the additional $449 payment. I would purchase the $350 basic version (knowing the bike may not have all the parts) and buy additional parts as you need them from a third party. That would make this purchase worth it.

E-bike with a good combination of motor and battery. A decent value.
This electric bike is pretty good for the price. It was easy enough to put together, though the instructions could've been better. I did have a problem with the left crank and pedal. The screw thread was not good. So I had to request a new left crank. Luckily the customer service was prompt and provided the needed replacement part quickly. Overall the bike is a good value. I'd buy it again. The range is about 30 miles depending on settings and conditions. I kept mine on the second level when testing and the motor performed well from Ventura to Ojai and back.

Good value for the money....
We purchased 2 of these E-Bikes... our first experience with e-bikes. Easy to assembly. Everything was packaged very well. I must admit they are built quite well for the price! The peddle assist works very well!! The battery plate that is mounted on the main downtube is not mounted straight on either of these bikes! I took the battery mounting plate off mine and actually filed the threaded inserts on the left side to try and get it to lay flat. It does sit better now but could take a little more off to get it completely lined up to sit vertically... they lean to the right. It's not a big deal... just bugs me when I look at it from the riding position. We were very uncomfortable with the low handlebars and have since purchased a stem extender and new handlebar mount to bring the handlebars up and back towards the rider, so you aren't leaning over so far. So far, the battery is holding up pretty good... but we only have a little over 130 miles on them. The seat?! pretty much non-existent. but I suppose once you get your butt in shape for sitting on a thin hard surface... you'll be ok (still working on that). Got the wifey a new seat. wise move.... We had a little trouble with error codes. I placed the bikes in the back of my truck and after taking them out and turning mine on I immediately got a 24 ERROR code. Be aware of the connector under the right rear arm that connects the motor to the electronics and battery. It was loose and not making connection. Called tech support and they were very helpful. After disconnecting ALL the connectors and re-connecting them... It finally worked. Then my wife received a 25 ERROR code minutes later! So... also be aware that you cannot hold either brake lever and turn the display power on to the bike..! We have noticed that every once in a while, the bike seems to jump forward! just a bit but it's very strange. So now my wife, after a couple whacks in the shin with the peddle, now powers it up AFTER she gets on. Not sure if we are hitting something to cause this or not! Would be interested if anyone else is experiencing the same phenomenon! These bikes seem to handle pretty well and appear they will hold up for quite a while!! Will add more after we get some real miles on them. For an entry level E-Bike... These are great!

Be prepared to do maintenance
The bad: Bike came missing front fork spacer (possibly lost during assembly) and with some other issues. I contacted support, who were very nice and are now sending me a front fork kit and replacement headlight. In the meantime, I took it to a mechanic and got the fork fixed for $40. There is was also some rubbing with the brakes and the brakes didn't have enough tension, which were easy fixes. There are also some other noises I need to fix. Also, assembly instructions sucked. Wheels came true thankfully! The good: Really fun bike. Like really fun. 750w is way more than needed if you just want a little boost. If you delimit it, the top speed is 34mph, and I've reached 31 mph in practice. I haven't ridden it much, but the bike seems to have a decent range. I think I was getting about 20 miles on a charge with a mix of pedaling and throttle. Going slower would get more range of course! The build quality feel good, and it fits me (5"8') well. It works well both on-road and on dirt. I don't like the throttle sensitivity. It seems to have three different "power levels" with the throttle which are all close to each other and close to the start of the throttle. Basically, you have to twist it barely at all if you want lower power. Also, the cadence sensor led to a lot of ghost pedaling uphill. I would bring up the PAS for more assistance, and suddenly it would pull me to 15mph. Not bad once you get used to it though. Overall, buy it like it's a project bike. You might get no issues, you might get a lot. Be ready to fix it or take it to a mechanic if needed (it's pretty easy to DIY). If you're good with that, it's worth it. I'll try to give an update on reliability in a few months.

Way better than I expected
These bikes are so much better than I expected!!! I bought2. One for me and one for my wife. We've only ridden them a couple of times, then the ice storm hit. But we can't wait for the world to thaw out so we can go riding again. If you're on the fence about this bike, just buy it. You won't regret it. But while assembling, check all the screws and bolts etc. For proper tightness. After our first outing I noticed the battery receiver on the frame had loose screws and one of the display screens were loose. I applied some thread lock on the screws and reinstalled them, and now it's all good. No other issues so far. I will update later after more rides. I rode over 4 hours going uphill and a lot of all throttle and my battery never got below 91%

Worst Bike Ever - Completely Unusable Uphill
โ ๏ธ DO NOT BUY โ ๏ธ This electric bike has been a total disaster. The motor is extremely weak and shuts down when riding uphill โ making it completely unreliable for daily use. After just a few rides, the bike started having serious mechanical issues and the build quality is extremely poor. I contacted the seller right away and provided full photo and video proof. After MONTHS of back-and-forth and over 20 emails, they sent the wrong return label and delayed the process. Even worse, Amazon support promised me THREE times that I would get a refund โ and itโs been FOUR MONTHS now. I still haven't received a single dollar. The entire experience has been a nightmare. I packaged the bike exactly as it was shipped, and followed every instruction. Still, I was left with a defective bike, wasted time, and a huge loss of money. ๐ซ Stay away from this product and this seller. If you run into a problem, neither the seller nor Amazon will support you. I regret this purchase more than anything.
