No more water spillage
Our new shower didn't come with this side sweep, only a bottom. This side sweep is awesome and long for big shower doors. Installation is pretty easy, however because of the rubber material, it takes some elbow grease to get it on. Cutting to size is easy! It does keep the water out, so no problem there. However, i drop it on the floor and because the material is rubber, it caught a lot of the stray hair and dust. a quick rinse with water cleaned it right up.

Not traditional hard plastic but soft silicone that may post issues
These are not the traditional hard plastic with flexible fin which are sturdy and easy to install but cannot bend into easily shippable packaging. These are extruded silicone material that can be rolled up like electrical wires. They are soft. They adhere to the glass fine when they are dry. The moment water gets under them, they would slip off. So the seller included a tube of adhesives. I installed them dry and try to press fit everywhere hoping water does not get under it. If it slips off when I shower, I will try the included adhesive then and see. If that doesn’t work, then I will return them. For now, it is a tentative 5 star.

If you open the door incorrectly, they fall off. Adhesive removal is bear.
If you push the shower door and they work fine. If you make a mistake and push the shower door out, it knocks the strip off and it’s a bear to get back on. Today I finally decided to replace it with a better quality strip and found out in fact there is adhesive on this product and it’s extremely difficult to get off the glass. I’m using a razor blades scraper with brand new razors and having great difficulty getting the stuff off. I would advise to go to the higher quality stuff right out of the box. Live and learn!

This strip really keep the water in my shower.
This 3/8" glass door side seal strip, measures 100" long X 3/8" wide, and is an excellent solution for sealing frameless doors with a thickness of 3/8" (10mm). It is made of a high-quality transparent silicone, which should provide durability and longevity. My shower door was leaking and this strip stopped all the drips! Installation was straightforward: simply use adhesive, adjust the length with scissors, and affix it securely to a clean surface. Specifically designed for frameless, swinging shower doors, this seal strip offers a practical and effective solution to prevent leaks and drafts, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
