An absolute must for anyone with Menieres!
Having been recently diagnosed with Menieres I was left (as with most people) with little guidance and advice. I felt alone and completely at sea with my illness. This book is written from the heart from a man who has suffered and yet found ways to help deal with the condition. Without doubt this is the most helpful book I have read as regards information (that your average reader!!) that you can really relate too. I can highly recommend it. I also bought 'Vertigo Vertigo' (excellent) and will be purchasing 'The Butterfly Effect' both by the same author.

So pleased I read this
So pleased I read this, it has helped me enormously with coping with the symptoms. I also found that it was nice to know that other people feel exactly the same as I do when the crippling symptoms happen.

Very Helpful
The Self-Help Book for Meniere's Vertigo is one of the most informative books that I have found on the subject. Two sections of the book “40 Ways to Help Yourself get over Meniere’s Vertigo” and “Mind Control” (positive self talk) are worth the price of the book alone. The “Mind Control” (positive self talk) section was new to me, and list of “Things to keep in Mind” are included. If you need to understand Meniere’s disease better then look no further than this book. This book is highly recommended.

Great book!
If you ever have a friend who has the misfortune of being diagnosed with Meniere's disease, as my friend has, then this is the book to give them. I bought this for my friend and now it's like I've got her back again, as I used to know her before Meniere's.She just seems to be coping so much better.

Meniere Man books are helping me.
I'll be frank, I don't have, to the best of my knowledge, Meniere's Disease. I do have a similar condition and know most of the same symptoms. When I read the Meniere Man books I feel as if someone understands what I go through when these attacks, that I have, occur.I also see a parallel when Meniere Man suggests things that might trigger an attack. I had already worked out some of those things were causing my attacks, and now I have a longer list of things I can strive to avoid. So, despite my condition being different, enough similarities exist between it and Meniere's Disease that I can benefit from reading all the useful ideas I'm gaining from Meniere Man's books.I'm just coming back from such an episode, 'attack,' and downloaded this to read. Yes, it does help to read someone describe how temporarily disabling these sorts of symptoms are. It helps, even more, to come away from having read the book with even more ideas I can try to ward off or minimize the severity of symptoms. It helps, to read something written in a POSITIVE manner about a condition most of my doctors have simply chosen to ignore.Thank you, Meniere Man for sharing your experience and what has helped you. It is helping me.
