Heats up quickly,and stops working three to five minutes later,sometimes I don't have the time to wait.

Pass on this one.
First, it doesn't "shred" CDs and DVDs. It's more like cutting it into three strips. NOT the same a Microcut and of course THAT isn't mentioned is it.. The CD and DVD I tried to shred both hard jammed at the exit port. It lacks handles, making it VERY hard to grab. It overheated at 15min of MODERATE shredding. Roughly HALF of its 18-sheet rating. Overall. A total disappointment (SENT IT BACK)

It’s a Work Horse, Works Great!
I have been using and abusing for several months now with no issues at all. Works just as well today as the day it arrived.

Crappy design. Failed after two months
I have had this POS for only a couple of months and now it won't pull paper in straight, so it jams and I have to keep reversing it to get it to shred the smallest pieces of mail.

Does a great job cross-cut shredding old files. The bin is large so the confetti mess is easily contained.
