ROKR Vintage Car Wooden Model Kit for Adult,MC801

Great kit but with some fiddly delicate parts. Looks lovely once completed. Good instructions.

These ROKR wooden kits are great, but you must follow the instructions carefully and take your time, as some parts are very delicate. I have assembled three of these now and I feel that they are excellent present for the practically minded person

I have built a number of these models and they are exceptionally well designed although it does not pay to be heavy handed. I have found that parts which are perforated to go around corners are very prone to breaking as the material can be very thin. Some parts are duplicated because of this but you can still be unlucky and break those also. I have resorted to wetting the parts that are designed to bend and this makes them flexible and much less prone to breaking and they dry quite quickly. I will do this on all future models.

After wanting to try something other than Lego I decided to give this kit a try and am very pleased, only a few recommendations for other builders. As you progress with the build it can get harder to push fit parts due to the fact that the parts are quite small and delicate. The running boards for me where the most delicate to fold and did end up snapping so be aware (did end up gluing). Some of the steps could have been done earlier, the tool box for instance cold have been put on when making the running board instead of when it's on the car to make Push fitting easier. My biggest recommendation is to use a knife to get the parts out, some of them are small and will break if taken out by hand. Overall the build was very rewarding and I do recommend! something different to what I normally do, already looking at the next one I can buy.

Impressed with all parts and assembly. Having spare parts is very useful. Just have to be very careful on handling as some parts are fragile even when completed.

Es muy divertido de montar. Alguien se rompió mucho la cabeza para diseñarlo y para explicar cómo montarlo. Muy fácil seguir las instrucciones. Algunas piezas son muy pequeñitas y otras frágiles, pero de las más frágiles hay repuesto. Ojo sobretodo al separarlas del panel. Además, conviene tener un botecito de cola a mano, porque algunas piezas tienden a desmontarse solas una y otra vez. Una gotita de cola lo soluciona. Es un adorno. No vale para jugar después con él. Lo recomiendo.

die Teile waren gut vorgeschnitten, von einigen gab es auch Zusatzteile falls trotz größter Vorsicht eins beim rausbrechen kaputt geht. Sehr gute Passgenauigkeit, so dass auf Kleber verzichtet werden kann, gelegentlich etwas nachfeilen oder zur Stabilisation kleben. Alles in allem, aufgrund der vielen kleinen Teile natürlich eine ziemliche "Fummelei"
