Good and robust. Makes holes with a solid punch through a hole. Therefore, does not block the blade and with no plate pressure it does not bend - all the others I've used ended up bending.

How could this one be so much better than all the other hole punches I've ever used? The design is different, the approach to how the hole is cut out is different, and it's somewhat annoying to change the size of the hole you want to cut compared to the usual hole punch, but the payoff is incredible. Holes have never been this easy to make. Much less pressure is required, the holes are always fully punched through, and there is no fear of breaking the sharp edge on the tool like you have with the regular punches. The tool feels solid, but even if it only lasts another month of use, it will have been worth it in comparison to all the other tools I've used.

Good enough but a bit fiddly to change the hole size.

This is great hole puncher and it looks the business and looks very professional and great quality build. It was really easy to use and made a nice clean hole in my leather belt. I would recommend it to anyone. The only let down was no instructions.

Why did you choose this product over others?: It does a reasonable job. I did find it a bit difficult to get the punched hole to be dead center and in line with the belts manufacturers holes. This may well be due to my short comings.

Not too bad. I like being able to adjust the size of the hole along with the size of the punch. Some thicker materials responded better when a made the hole one step larger. I also like the ability to set the depth for consistent hole position. There is a screw to loosen to be able to rotate the punch. Basically it limits how wide the punch opens. Let it go wide enough and punch dies rotate. I do find that screw a bit fiddley and takes a lot of turns. Your mileage may vary and the more I use it and have to adjust it, maybe I'll be able to find the right spot and make it only a few turns each direction. Also the depth guide needs to be tightened with a screwdriver to make it secure. Fingertip tightness isn't quite enough. However the screw is kinda soft, so be sure to find a screwdriver with a tip that goes into it securely. Past that, I do like it and for my occasional needs, this works better than the other handheld hole punches I've used. BT recommended
