Updated review
Had an issue with the initial delivery but got in contact with the company. They quickly fixed the issue and took care of the problem. So I wanted to definitely change my review. Great company with an excellent product. And last but not least outstanding customer service

HORRIBLE pasta!
Based upon all of the positive reviews, I decided to branch out my low carb pasta options. Unfortunately, I bought the 6 pack of the High Protein assortment . Tonight I cooked the ruffle pasta. Despite reviews saying to cook it at the low end of the suggested time, I had to keep cooking to get to al dente. The first thing I noticed, when testing for doneness and when eating the sauced final product was the weird texture. It was like the pasta had a fine gritty feel in the tongue, followed by an unappealing flavor, that over powered the sauce and cheese covering it. I will stick with my Carbe Diem brand and donate the other 5 boxes. I am not sure if the low calorie version is dramatically different, but I am not ruin another meal finding out.

Edible alternative
Decent healthy pasta, not technically keto but can make it work. Definitely doesn’t beat the real thing, but it helped me and my husband transition from so much carbs to a more healthy and conscientious diet. The size per box is a good serving for two, and it is true to cook time. Just don’t have high expectations for it to taste as good as your run of the mill box of macaroni. It keeps its form well and doesn’t fall apart when mixing it. Something about the consistency though is almost off putting. But when you can’t trust the ingredients from your store bought stuff this at least gives you peace of mind you’re trying. We haven’t tried many other carb conscious brands so don’t have much to compare to, so keep that in mind. It’s worth a try on your health journey!

Please avoid this, or you'll be a loser too
I really wanted to love this, but wow… what happened here? I paid $36 for a 6-pack of Pastabilities thinking I was getting something fun and pasta-filled protein. Instead, I seem to have purchased a very expensive box of mystery disappointment. First surprise: the pasta is apparently playing hide-and-seek. Some bites have a little, some have none, and some feel like the pasta simply heard about the product but didn’t actually attend. Consistency? Never met her. Second surprise: the taste. I’m not sure how to describe it exactly, but imagine if pasta thought about being flavorful and then decided it was too much work. That’s about where we landed. (It's disgusting!) And because it’s food, returning it isn’t exactly an option… so congratulations, Pastabilities — you’ve successfully turned $36 into a life lesson. On the bright side, the box looks nice while it sits there reminding me to not to buy food items on Amazon.
