Fabulous fountain!
My almost 15 year old cats have never been big water drinkers but with the boy's new diagnosis of kidney disease, I knew I needed to really try to push the issue for him. He took to this fountain almost immediately! I did have to try a couple spots until I put it in the middle of the hallway so he passes is frequently and will usually stop for a drink. I haven't gotten his retested bloodwork but they both are definitely drinking more water than ever before! I love that this fountain has the faucet part & the reservoir window so I can easily tell when more water needs to be added. It generally is quiet until the water level gets lower and it sounds a bit more gurgly. It is quick to assemble and easy to clean. Well worth the cost!

Nereal 108oz/3.2L cat fountain - great for kittens/cats, great price
Best cat water fountain we've tried and we've had a number of them. Previously, they have been primarily plastic. The Nereal 108oz/3,2L is the best designed fountain for cats that we've had. 1st - 304 (Food grade) stainless steel construction. 2d - Very simple to take apart for cleaning and filter replacement (In fact, the top and bowl are dishwasher safe). 3d - Very quiet! The quietest water pump we've ever encountered. Most importantly, our kitten has no fear of it and can easily access it, both the surface water as well as the spout (Some cats will prefer one to the other, some both}. A few of tips: We use filtered water, better for kitty and lengthens filter life. You can easily add water without having to lift the top off. *The pump will last much longer of you avoid letting the bowl getting below the minimum line. Always clean the pump when you clean the fountain - it's very easy to open the housing and the brush that comes with it works fine.

Quietest, Cleanest, Water Fountain Ever
Only had it for a few hours, and it is amazing!First, sound is non-existent, its extremely quiet! So it doesn't scare our extra skittish cat. The pump is working great as well, and is quiet too.The lighting is also very nice, its easy to see when the water gets low beforehand. Making it easy to refill, and ensuring our cats have fresh water. All in all, I do very highly recommend this Fountain for your fellow kibbies!

Nice fountain.
This water fountain is wonderful. It was easy to assemble and very easy to clean. Our cats went to it right away and have been using it since. The cost was reasonable compared to others we considered. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it needs the filters replaced every two weeks. I thought the size might be too big but it seems just right.

Switching water bowls was the best decision we have made!
We decided to switch from the typical plastic 1.5L bowl for our cats to this stainless steel fountain and couldn’t be happier!!The design is cute and fits in with the kitchen decor perfectly. It’s quiet and our cats love the constant flow of water, making it super pet friendly.Replacing the filter and sponge is super easy, and the fountain itself self is easy to clean! The plastic bowl we had before was a pain to clean. We constantly had to buy new ones because over time the material would feel like it was breaking down and the cats would start refusing to drink from them. Now we don’t have that issue. The pump is super reliable and works great. I like that we can have it run like a fountain or take the center piece out and have it flow lower. That feature came in handy when first introducing the cats to the new bowl.Honestly we may have to get a second one just because they love it so much!

My bunnies are drinking more water now!
This water fountain has been great! We got two of them for our two bunnies. It keeps the water clean and filters out hair, hay, etc. so they are drinking much more water now. It’s also easy to clean and replace the filters once every 1-2 weeks. We’ve had them for about 3 months and they’re still in great condition, very quiet, and the perfect size so our two bunnies stay hydrated for a couple of days before needing to be refilled.

Your pet will love this water fountain!
First of all, this is my second Neareal fountain purchase. I have two cats kept separately, so they each needed a fountain. This second fountain is just as great as the first one! I really love them both and so do my cats. The main difference between them is how the water comes up and falls out into the bowl. This one is very much like how water falls from a faucet. This was very important for my cat, because she likes to drink from the faucet. This fountain is a wonderful way for her to increase her hydration, without keeping the faucet running! I really love the design of the Neareal water fountain because it's so easy and quick to clean and replace filters, keeping fresh water available for my furry friend around the clock! The fountain is virtually silent, with just the sound of the water flowing. That is definitely a plus for sensitive felines! You will not regret buying this Neareal water fountain for your pet!

Poor design of parts harbors mold in unreachable areas
I've now had this fountain for approximately 6 months, and I've been on a weekly cleaning schedule for all of the parts, soaking my cleaning brushes in cleaning vinegar between fountain cleanings to sanitize and kill any potential mold spores. Overall, I like the capacity of the fountain, and my cats liked the bubble effect that happens when you don't use the drinking spout. Filter replacement is easy, and I had no problems with spills or rust like some of the other reviewers had. It's not as noisy as other fountains I've had, especially with the bubbler instead of the spout. Neither of my cats cared for the spout. Although this fountain is super lightweight when empty, it is very stable when filled due to the weight of the water. That being said, I hate how annoying it is to clean the plastic grating on the water pump and how impossible it is to clean several of the other parts. Despite a regular cleaning schedule using both a clean toothbrush and the included mini brush to get into all of the crevices shown in the cleaning video, two of these parts now have mold growth in unreachable areas and will cost almost the same amount as the fountain itself to replace. I've never used those brushes for anything else, and I soak them in cleaning vinegar for at least an hour and then air dry after every use, so I know with 100% certainty that this was not a cross-contamination issue. In the first photo, I've taken apart the whole thing to show you the large variety of parts that you'll look forward to cleaning if you buy this (not pictured: 2 plastic pieces and 2 screws that you're supposed to take out of the lid, but I don't bother and I explain why below). Technically the hook shaped water spout could go in the dishwasher, but I would still recommend using a straw brush to clean the inside of it, because I truly don't think that the water from a dishwasher would ever go inside of it to properly clean it (other 1-star reviewers confirm this suspicion). In the second photo, I show one of the most annoying design choices I've ever seen in a cat fountain. Two plastic pieces attached to the lid with two tiny phillips head screws. Technically, the plastic pieces are NOT dishwasher safe. But who wants to locate a screwdriver (and keep track of two tiny screws) every time they clean the cat fountain? Certainly not me. So I've been putting the lid through the dishwasher as-is with those plastic parts intact. Thankfully the parts have not melted or distorted during their many vacations on the top rack, but your mileage may vary. This is something that annoyed me the moment I took this out of the packaging to run it through the dishwasher for the first time - I honestly regret that I didn't just return the product at that point! In the third and fourth photos, I show a specific part of the water pump where the cord meets the plastic casing. Despite those thorough weekly cleanings, mold is now clearly visible underneath the plastic casing after 6 months of use. Unfortunately, this piece of plastic is NOT removeable to clean underneath (it seems to be cemented in place with some time of hard silicone or maybe resin material?), and therefore is not shown on the official cleaning video. But don't worry, because Neareal will happily allow you to buy a new water pump for $15.99 (which will eventually have the exact same problem because this is a design issue instead of user error). In the fifth and sixth photos, I show the top and bottom of the part that holds the spout and also connects to the pump. Truly this piece looks like it should come apart, and I've tried prying it apart with two screwdrivers in the little tabs on the side and was unsuccessful. I've also tried pushing it up through the bottom, with no luck. Unfortunately, mold is growing inside of it, and unless I can take it apart (which btw was also not shown in the official cleaning video, likely because it's incredibly difficult to take apart, if not impossible) this piece will also not be safe to continue using. But don't worry because Neareal will also sell you that part for $9.99 (which also will likely have the same problem because this is a design issue instead of user error).UPDATE 6/4/26: It took 2 screwdrivers and my husband's help, but we finally managed to pry it apart! I've added an additional photo to show the nastiness that was festering inside of that unreachable area. The smaller of the two pieces is coated in a textured silicone material, so even if I do my best sanitize it at this point, I'm not at all confident that it won't immediately grow more mold. Silicone materials also absorb odors, so my guess is that no matter what I do, my cats will be able to smell that it was once infested with mold. Again, this is an area that Neareal themselves DO NOT INSTRUCT YOU TO EVER CLEAN in their official cleaning video!!For me to get these two replacement parts shipped from Neareal's website to my home, it would cost $30.88. For reference, the fountain itself was a grand total of $33.24 when it was purchased on Dec 18, 2025.Anyone else tired of everything in our lives being a subscription based upon planned obsolescence ? Yeah, me too. The poor design of these parts seems very intentional so that you will be required to regularly buy replacements instead of having the ability to thoroughly clean them yourself. No matter how good of a job you think you are doing with cleaning, it won't matter because the design itself harbors mold over time. You are set up to fail from the beginning.UPDATE 6/15/26:Neareal reached out on June 8th in response to this review to say "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase. If you would like a full refund: please reply 'Full refund'. We hope that you give us another chance. Thank you very much."Four minutes later, they sent another message:"This is Haley from Neareal here to assist you. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you've encountered. Please rest assured that our product is covered by an 18-month warranty service. Could you please provide your FULL ADDRESS? We will promptly arrange for a new pump and a new spout holder to be sent to you. Looking forward to your reply."I responded with "Full Refund" because even though replacement parts would solve the issue short-term, long-term the design of the parts is flawed enough that I would have the same problem on my hands in a few months if I chose the parts instead. On June 10th, they closed the service inquiry without any further replies. No refund was given, and I've not received any replacement parts in the mail.

Muy buen producto!
Excelente producto, los filtros atrapan super bien el pelo y las impurezas que le echan mis gatos a la fuente 10/10

My cat loves it!
It’s a little higher than our previous fountain and I think she likes that. She took right to it. It’s quiet and easy to clean. Because it’s stainless steel and no light exposure there’s no constantly checking for any green forming in the reservoir edges. Very easy to change filters as well.

La calidad del material es muy buena.
Excelente compra, los materiales son de buena calidad, no hace nada de ruido y lo más importante a los michis les encanta.

Low quality
Not the most expensive filter out there, but not the cheapest one either. Neither of my cats really like the fountain (I gave it 3 weeks and only one of them barely drinks from it). The pump is relatively quiet but not “quieter than a whisper” as advertised (I can hear it from the next room over). I make sure to keep the water level full and clean the fountain regularly with a non-scratch sponge. However there are scratches in the stainless steel already! This promotes bacteria to sit in the scratches, as well as this fountain builds water scale quickly. Not satisfied with the $50+ I spent on this purchase. Both of my cats much prefer their still water bowls
