This all in one blood glucose testing kit is a great bit of kit that provides accurate results. Inside the box you get a a carry case, the main testing unit, batteries, test strips & safety lancets along with calibration fluid. The device requires some basic setup when you first power on such as setting the time and date, you also have the option to set reminder alarms. I did find the instructions a little confusing and i personally thought that they could have been clearer - it took me a couple of attempts and resets of the device to work out how to set the parameters. However once this was completed the testing was super easy. You get a safety lancet which you load with the needles, the depth of the needle can be set by adjusting a dial on the holder. I choose number 5 as this was in the middle of normal thickness skin. This worked well for me and produced the required amount of blood for the test strip. Testing literally took seconds and my result was displayed on the screen - nice and big numbers and super easy to read. You can also connect the device to your computer to download all the readings and monitor over time. Well made device, a little confusing to set up, but works very well and provides good accurate results. Recommended.

Device seesm to be inaccurate, take a reading at 8:00am it reads 6.8 take a reading at 8:02 it reads 5.4 so I don't know why it says used by the NHS and St John Ambulance as I don't trust the readings at all. 2 stars for the nice case! Update: Reading of 28.6 today so I think I'm offically an anaemic sugar monster, the other great thing about this machine is you'll probably have to use all the strips within a couple of days as even though there is blood all over the strip it informs me insufficient sample use another strip, as Hancock said 'That's nearly an arm full' before getting a non-sensical reading.
