When something got caught in the Seal of our front load washing machine, we needed a solution! This set came with a good quality gasket that makes a watertight seal against the door. It was compatible and fit perfectly as described in the description and fit our machine as it should. The material is thicker and more pliable than the original, giving me hope that it will last a lot longer than the last one. I love that this set came with the pliers to remove and replace the spring seal, but even with that help it was still a chore to put back on. Whatever you do, don't plan to be in a hurry!

This fit my washer whirlpool duet perfectly. It came with a tool but after watch a video on how to take off and put back on the spring, I opted to purchase the washing machine spring expansion tool .this made it so easy. I am a woman I did this replacement myself. The seal stopped my leak. Although my socks do get stuck but I just put them in a wash bag. Problem solved.

This boot seal fits well on my Whirlpool Duet wfw9150ww01 model. I'd say it fits perfectly, but there is now a large gap that is swallowing my ankle socks and color catcher sheets (see photo). It was easy to install and took less than an hour from start to finish by the time I located all the necessary tools. There is a great video on YouTube by Repair Clinic that lays it out step by step (no, I am not affiliated with/sponsored by them). The gasket itself is good quality rubber and looked identical to the one I removed from my machine. The up and down tabs were properly labeled, and I found it installed easiest working from the bottom up. The pliers are very sturdy and have a 5.125" spread, possibly more if you have strong hands. These make REMOVING the front seal clamp significantly easier, but weren't much help when I was trying to put things back together (I used needles nose pliers). The gloves were a nice addition, but my hands are small and this operation requires dexterity I'm not going to get wearing baggy gloves. Being able to replace this gasket by myself easily saved me 75% of the cost to hire a repairman ($75-100 service fee plus over $100 for parts). My machine still has a small dribble, but not the deluge I was getting before. It make just need to finish decompressing.

Was a challenge at times to replace but if you stay at it and follow instructions on YouTube it can be done. There are some good videos out there. I would recommend taking washer apart and clean filter while you are at it. This boot fit perfectly for my Whirlpool WFW9250WW00. Coming with gloves and the spring tool was a nice touch. Spring tool helped a lot but still a challenge to get on at the end. Looks like brand new again. Durability looks like it will last at least 7-10 more years. Functions like new. Dont buy a new washing machine if you have a leak. It’s probably your boot (last picture of the hole in my boot). Couldn’t believe how dirty it was. Glad I replaced it.

Fit well, quality seems good although it seems a little more flexible than the original. It was easy to remove but not easy to install. I had high hopes for the included tool but it did not stretch the spring far enough. The gloves are a nice touch as well making this a good value.

The seal fit my Maytag 2000 series washer, but it lost shape right away. Now the water pools and socks and underwear are caught in the misshapen area.

So far it’s working really well. For our whirlpool Duet. At first it was smoking once the first test cycle. But once we took it apart again we realized the tabs were not quite aligned correctly. The holes at the bottom and the tab at the top was skewed. So we redid the whole thing the next day. It’s not hard.. just hard. Lol. My finger tips were sore the next day from pulling this over the lip around the entire tub.. twice!. but it saved me between $200-$300. that’s how much the repair people quoted me to replace the gasket. Didn’t use the gloves, but the spreader did come in handy. Took about 2 hours total. Both times. The same amount of time those estimators told me it would take. And I’ve never done it. So I think that was a good thing.
