Black acrylic is an ordinary plastic sheet that can be used both indoors and outdoors and are also known as Plexiglas. An acrylic plastic sheet is easy to cut yourself. Use a circular saw, jigsaw, handsaw or the like with a fine-toothed blade for plastic. Acrylic has approximately the same strength as ordinary glass, meaning it is breakable. Do you want an unbreakable plastic sheet choose Polycarbonate then. The sheets will be delivered with a green transparent protective film on one side and clear transparent protective film on the other side. Acrylic sheets can be shaped by heat. Furthermore, this type of acrylic is approved to be used in connection with food. Acrylic is also known as Plexiglas, Perspex og PMMA.
