Disappointing

Was very excited. Opals are my favourite. As I placed on toe I thought I felt/heard a creak/crack. Actually thought it was my toe bone. Noticed a hairline mark on the opal. It had actually fractured in two places and a piece had lifted and flaked off as you can see in second picture.
