This 6FT Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kit was surprisingly straightforward to install. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary hardware was included, making it a breeze to get the job done. The only odd thing was there were wooden dowels included that aren't mentioned in the direction and are not needed to install. The quality of the hardware kit itself was solid. The materials are sturdy and well-made, and the finish is a nice black powder coat. The sliding mechanism is smooth and quiet, and the door glides effortlessly along the track. As with all barn door installs you must make sure the rail is perfectly level. If not, the door will not stay in place. What really sets this product apart is the price though. I've installed many barn door type units and when comparing it to similar units on the market, this one is a great value for money. It is significantly cheaper than any of the others I have installed and that is without sacrificing any quality or functionality. The only thing to be aware of is the rail is four pieces that connect together. It is nicer when it is one rail because getting this aligned does add a few minutes more to the install time. The cost is about three times less than a single rail so well worth the extra time.

Works ok, I’d rather have bought a kit that didn’t come in sections of rails that have to piece together than larger rails that only have one gap “junction” It’s kind of a pain in the a** to get straight and level and spaced perfectly with so many sections … I can only assume the short rail sections are made that way to save on size of shipping in a box, but this makes it much harder to install, like very much! Harder to install, so much so that I would buy one other than this next time to save on the hassle but this was cheap and now I see why The materials seem sturdy, but the rail set up absolutely sucks and if your not 100% precise in your measurements and tactic of install it will not function as it should when your door is on it and rolling

I refer to this as a 35" barn door hardware based on the maximum door width that will work with this hardware. The hardware is sturdy and appears to be well made. The rolling bearing wheels are equipped with quiet bearings that have good fitment with no excessive play/movement. The mounting hardware is more than adequate to hold a 35" door. The barn door hardware arrived in a box so small that I didn't first realize it was the barn door hardware. The hardware was well packaged, came with good instructions, the only thing I could have preferred is that the 6' 6" wall rails were longer pieces. The length of the rails allowed for packaging in a small box. This will make mounting a little more cumbersome and time consuming. My intentions are to buy longer rail pieces and cut them to size, and drill out the holes to mount them with the included hardware. Even with buying the long rail which will change the maximum width of the barn door over 35", this is still a good buy.

Couldn't beat it for the price. Instructions are un clear so I just had to wing it. It comes with wooden dowels to use in the drywall (I think) which was sketchy. But I was able to line the kit up to about 3 studs so I'm confident it will hold up over time

Purchased kit to go with barn door I got from Wayfair bolts for hanger are way to short

I didn’t like the way the rail pieces have to be fitted together. The rail doesn’t seem very strong.
