Good quality like all the Balanced Body stuff. Necessary prop for mat and reformer practice. You don't want to fill this ball until it is completely firm; it needs to have a little "give" to it. When you first inflate the ball, it will be rough looking and lumpy and creased, especially because you won't be filling it to the maximum capacity of air. The lumps and creases will go away with a little time and use. I use this ball daily in my practice and it holds up the abuse of sitting on it, laying on it, standing on it, squeezing it tightly between my thighs, etc. Try to overlook the initial look of it, it will still work just fine in it's ugly phase.

The ball was so badly greased when it arrived…it was warped after being inflated by blowing it up using an oral attachment.

I have used Balanced Body products in many Pilates studios. I have always felt they were made to last, considering so many use them in a place, class after class. But this arrived today sans pin to plug the air hole; it doesn’t have one of those one-way air holes. You pump it up, and it immediately it loses all its air. So if you’re not into an inflatable Pilates ball that loses air on the constant—or possibly worse, has a pin to misplace, pass this one by for one of the less-expensive options here. Returning with disgust.

This ball is the best!! Endless uses with exercise! Buy it! You won’t regret it! Great company!! I fell in love with it in my Pilates class. I love the way it feels and super easy to inflate.
