If you go to cruscials website and put in your laptop model it will list the memory that they guarantee to be compatible. That easy way to make sure. Remember the max ram you can have in your laptop is 32gb so keep that in mind and make sure you don't have that much already. Mine had 8gb so I added the 16 to give 24gb. But that was more do to other reasons than doing best thing. For reference I have a MSI GL75 9sd and this ram works perfectly. And this ram is correct type and speed for your machine but best to check for yourself be going to crucial compatibility site or on the MSI site for specs. Rather than just listening to random dude on here.
