Absolutely what I wanted. The only improvement I would do is make the base heavier because I have them on the back porch. I have to contract them down make them shorter so that the wind won’t blow them over.

After one year it’s full of rust.

Received ashtray couple days ago. At first I didn't think it was to bad. But after using it many times, it won't stay at the height i set it at, I go to open the lid and that slight of pressure and down it goes. I followed the manual to a tee, doesn't take a genius to put it together and set it up. That issue i can work with. The main issue I have with it is this, and may sound petty to some, but I'm sure there is people that would concur with me. Issue is , I bought this ashtray, for myself. And here I find the manufacturers name in bold green letters, right on the main section of the ashtray. Now, b4 anyone judges, I would totally understand if it were just an easy peel decal, say on bottom of base , or anywhere obscured, however, the name Vivo sun, is really what I kept on seeing everytime I looked at it or used it. So I decide to take it off. That's when I decided on the 2 star rating. It took me over an hour to get these stickers off without scratching or denting, (ashtray is not much thicker then a soda can and dents very easily) it. I believe they made it difficult to take these off so that their name would stay on it and everyone would see it. Again, I bought this for myself, why in the heck would I want their name on it and boldly put in a place that can't be hidden and made to not come off without denting and scratches it. I finally found a plastic razor blade and a bottle of Goof Off and was able to make it mine..I wouldn't recommend this for those reasons and would never buy from this place again. Drc

I was looking for a Christmas present for my cousin and I could see it was time for him to get a new ash tray. As I was searching through Amazon trying to find the best one, this little guy popped up on my phone. And boy am I glad I bought it. I was worried it wouldn't be sturdy but was pleasantly proven wrong! It was sturdy and adjustable. For the lady couch potatoes in your life it even has a feature where they don't have to move to fat to ash because it adjusts to their height. It does not take up much room and has a sleek elegant look. Great gift idea, or also something nice to add to your home for the smokers. We haven't tried it outside yet but im sure during the summer this will be a great addition to the balcony. I think you should get one and see for yourself.
