Lynch on Lynch

Worth it for Lynch aficionados.
I’ve been a David Lynch fan since the original Twin Peaks and had got this book 5 years ago. It took me all this time to get round to reading it but it is worth it. Lynch, as is standard, talks a lot while revealing little. Rodley on occasion asks and says some really dumb things but overall this book is worth a read for any Lynch fan.

Dutifully put together and recommended for big David Lynch fans I think
A rare insight into the world of Lynch. Unlike the flawed documentaries that pop up from time to time, this ones the real deal. A collection of interviews where Lynch really opens up, not about meaning of course, but about the events surrounding the making of his work. Dutifully put together and recommended for big David Lynch fans I think.

Lynch on Lynch
A must-read if you are interested in David Lynch, his films or filmmaking in general, this book of in depth interviews is fascinating and insightful. A great and informed interviewer, asking intelligent and thorough questions about Lynch's films, ideas, methods and experiences. I love the way it breaks down each film in Lynch's filmography and allows time to examine the work (up until the time of printing). It would be good to have an updated version with Inland Empire and his digital fascination included. Such an inspiring book if you are a filmmaker.
