ViewSonic VA3209M 32 Inch 1080p IPS Computer Monitor, Full HD, HDMI VGA, PC

We use this display primarily in a home office setup for emal, some financial/business software, and MS Office. By current standards this is a basic display and for our purposes it works fine at a good price. It gets some use for streaming video, but not for things like image processing which requires more than 1080P. ViewSonic turns out to be our go to brand. We think it is the best combination of price, performance and reliability. I just counted; there are three other ViewSonic displays in use here My wife tells me that the built in speakers are terrible, though she uses a separate sound bar. I think the onboard audio is just typically poor, useful when there is no better option.

I paired this with an articulating monitor arm and a tiny Beelink PC for my elderly mother, who has limited desk space and fading eyesight. I had zero issues getting this mounted up on the arm and connected via HDMI, and Mom and I were both impressed with the brightness and the color range and quality of the display. She was really happy to see how good her family photos and desktop backgrounds looked on it. This was a big improvement over the basic 24" Dell monitor it replaced. I was expecting the relatively low resolution to be more noticeable at this screen size, but even when I brought it up closer to my face, I thought everything looked really good. More importantly, Mom is happy. For the price I think this was a great value.

I keep buying these. You know the 1920x1080 specs, image quality is LCD. Side viewing is decent. I picked 32" and 1080 so the smallest text & menus remain readable. I could have gone 32" 4K but I just I've have to deal with scaling and all that. Besides, less pixels and for programming on the road, it's fine. Base disassembles easily enough. Tab releases the vertical part of the base, quarter turn to separate. Since it's just me handling, I don't bother putting in the screws; (not a negative, just an understood condition) just be careful turning the monitor else it will fall off the base. I've got a bag to carry two of these when I travel. One has a SFF computer VESA mounted on the back. Not gamer but good CPU/RAM/multimonitor outputs. Whole setup works well. To make it more travel friendly, I carry two individual USB C PD power supplies. One with a USB C PD cable to power the SFF computer. One with a USB C PD cable to power the monitor at 12 volts. (Make sure your PD power supply supports 12 volts; not all do.) Makes travel much lighter. Fun / interesting thing. When the computer is off and monitor having power but sleeping, in certain lighting conditions you may notice the display cycling between red, green, blue, white and off. If you have one, put a small flash up to the monitor when it is powered by sleeping and you'll never be able to unsee this. And I have no idea why they have them cycling the color... perhaps to mitigate stuck pixels?? Anyhow, I like the monitors and will likely buy more. BT recommended

Great monitor for the money!

Very happy with this monitor! Even without looking at the online directions, it is easy to setup. Screen images are crystal clear! While the speakers are not audiophile quality, they work good enough and are loud enough for working environments!

This is a work monitor for people who want a lot of physical real estate but don't need ultra-high resolution or framerates. You can be giving yourself or your team a nice 32-inch monitor experience for the price of a stingy measly 24-inch, and don't underestimate how much easier on the eyes that is. No more hunching forward to read the small print, and that's good on the neck and back too. But keep in mind the limitations. High-end gamers want a high refresh rate, but this caps at 75 frames per second and doesn't support the various variable framerate technologies like FreeSync. To be honest, most gamers don't need any of that anyway, particularly at this monitor's resolution. Which brings up the second limitation. This is a 1080P monitor in a world where most 32-inch monitors are 1440p. For productivity, this is a total non-issue, but for gamers who are resolution-addicts this will be noticeable. The plus side is that the moderate maximum resolution and moderate maximum framerate won't require high-end graphics cards to max out; this monitor will pair well with older and sub-300 dollar GPUs. Color accuracy is fine for everything short of media production work. If your workflow requires calibrated color (pre-press, professional video production, high end art and graphic design), this isn't the monitor for you. It's not bad, but you're going to have a bad time trying to get it accurate or to closely match what other media production professionals are seeing on their much-more-expensive monitors. Bottom line though is that if you want a large monitor and don't need calibrated color or extreme performance, this is a real bargain. It's big, it does what it's designed to do well, and it's affordable and a very good value for the money.

Im not an expert on the latest monitor technologies or anything but i do know im not paying 300$ for a smart tv thats gonna be a dumb tv after ten updates...this here was a quality purchase and it has a pretty good sound system stocked ...but im using the 1/8th inch auxillary out into a mixer amp

Of course, one cannot write a review for reliability for something I turned on for the first time today, However, for now, everything works. The display is bright and crisp. Installation was simple and quick, though I did drop the base of the unit on my bare toe while unpacking it, ouch. It's pretty heavy. I didn't break the base and I don't think I broke my toe. Maybe one day I can add a note on reliability after 2 or 3 years. Incidentally, that base I dropped on my toe is heavy, which makes the display stable and less apt to tip over.

Ottimo monitor. Personalmente lo uso come schermo per vedere film in dvd. Collegato ad un lettore dvd fa egregiamente il suo lavoro.

Además de lo bien empacado y con días de anticipación, el monitor se instaló al momento, no hice ningún ajuste en la computadora. Para la colocación de su base traía instrucciones claras y un desarmador incluído. Funciona de forma excelente.

Very good quality monitor. I have waited several months before reviewing this monitor so I could give an honest longer term assessment. One thing to take note of is the monitor only has a single VGA input and a Single HDMI input, no DVI. This monitor has built in speakers and a headphone output. The speakers are rear firing so for me they sound best if the monitor is backed by a wall. The sound is clear, good mid range, but don't expect too much if you are listening to music. The headphone jack is on the bottom of the monitor beside the video inputs and is a bit awkward to plug in but good to have. Color, contrast, brightness and sharpness have plenty of range for adjustment in different room lighting conditions and so far I have been really happy with the video quality (I have noticed when watching movies the black color response is not the best but it could be my video card rather than the monitor). Overall a good purchase and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lower priced larger sized monitor.
