Expensive but works like nothing else.
Expensive but works like nothing else. Sure deadens sound on cab of ice cream truck. If you brush against it too hard it could tear or chip off but otherwise very durable. One inch thick and soft as a mat.

Cutting It'
I used one inch fome for insulation in the roof of my 2012 Jeep Wrangler I live in Mesa Arizona and it's really hot down here it's 104 today I'll see how it holds in the roof it's only been in a week cutting it is not as easy as they say it is August 6 its still holding and keep most heat out my old wrangler had no insulation the new ones do have

Don’t waste your money.
Clean surface in a brand new van. Room temperature 18c. Applied the insulation and it stuck when applied. But by morning it had all peeled off. Returning it to Amazon. Plus 4mm is a stretch. More like 2mm!
