Much better than expected
Surprisingly solid handle. I can't even flex the handle with my hands. Much better than expected. The rubber roller also has a nice level of texture.I'm using this to apply some dynamat insulation to my camper van. I have the dynamat branded roller, but the handle on the dynamat roller is a bit short for some cases, and also that unit has the roller suspended between two metal forks, meaning it's not good for edge work. This roller, with the J handle is good at edging, and also a bit more ergonomically friendly when I can get the longer handle in there. The one weakness with this handle is that the J side seems like it protrudes out farther than it needs to, and therefore, this roller is less useful in tighter spaces.

Worked great
First time I ever tried to laminate anything and it worked well. This roller is strong and the bearings are smooth. I am NOT a pro so it should last me for the rest of my life. I'm 65 so it may not have to last that long! LOL

Nice,,
Cheap, simple, it works great. I would not want to use it all day. The handle is not really all that comfortable. But for the money, great buy!

Excellent roller
Don't be scared by he reviews saying the handle is short or too thin. I have used many J rollers like this and this one is a beefy tool that means business. The handle is very average in size compared to others like it, but is very thick and heavy. Definitely something you can put a lot of weight into. It is extremely nice. Also, the rod does not protrude out of the roller head, so no worries about gouging when rolling inside corners.

Well built, but beefier grip would be worth two more stars.
It works. The roller part is smooth and firm. But the handle is merely coated with thin plastic, and there is not much there to "grip". You end up having to use both hands if you want full pressure. Over time, I found that the roller wanted to travel off the pipe, but that may have been due to my having used it to tap a few tape corners back into position.

Great roller
This roller was very sturdy, we used it to apply house wrap to our rebuild, the house wrap was Williams Blueskin 101 that has an adhesive backing but needs to be applied with a roller to ensure a good adhesion

J-roller used for sheet vinyl installation
This roller worked perfectly for me. After extending its short handle with a piece of cast iron pipe, I used the j-roller to press a smal bathrooml sheet vinyl floor into its flooring cement. The handle extension allowed me to apply my body weight to the roller. All trapped air bubbles were easily pushed out giving excellent results.

Good Heavy Duty Roller for Attaching Flexible Flashing
I have used flexible butyl rubber flashing on a number of projects. I use this roller to make sure the sticky side f the flashing it in total contact with whatever substrate I am attaching it to and to push out all of the air bubbles. The long handle and low profile enables me to get into tight places much better than other shorter handled rollers. It is built to last with heavy usage. Good investment for the tool box!
