PA503X 4000 Lumens XGA Projector, High Brightness for Business Presentations and Education, SuperColor Technology, Vertical Keystone, and HDMI Inputs

Sure it cost more than the mini LED projectors that have exploded on the market these days. I am an artist who needs an easy method of quickly transferring scaled up lines onto large canvases and thinking I could get by with a less expensive alternative (tech is supposed to be both cheap and high quality these days isn't it?) I tried a few of those mini projectors that claim to have bright images and super clear projection. None of them worked for me. In the past I worked in a large theater doing countless set ups for meetings, lectures, and presentations and we always invested in the highest quality projection units possible on our budget like BenQ, Panasonic, and Epson. So after being frustrated with cheaper alternatives, I purchased this ViewSonic PA503X and knew immediately upon set up that I had finally purchased the unit that was what I needed to get my work done. Image is bright and sharp at 3800 lumens and I can project clearly defined drawing transfers now for all my larger canvases. The fan is not particularly loud or annoying and the unit is compact and lightweight enough to be easily supported on a pedestal that I put together with foamcore panels. This unit may have been initially more costly, but finally I have a projector that does exactly what I need it to do and it set up quickly right out of the box. I would recommend ViewSonic projectors highly not only for artists but also for teachers and small business folks who need to present in a room with fairly high ambient light.

For the price, the quality is amazing. We use this for our home theater. It casts about 16 ft to fill a 110 inch screen. The HD is good, with vibrant colors. The refresh ratio is a little on the slow side for modern equipment, but only noticeable if you are looking for that specifically. All normal watching it's not a big deal. I do find that reds are a little off. Seems to have a brightness to them that other colors don't do. I've had this for 6 years and haven't had an issue yet. We don't have to go the theater anymore since we have one at home. Even better we have a pause button. Take that AMC lol

What a great projector! It excels all of my expectations. I use this for garden club presentations and good color and sharpness are a necessity when showing photos of flowers and gardens. We turn out a few lights, but there is still plenty of light and I have even used it with full light and the brightness is excellent. It is so easy to use - basically plug & play. I use a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter with USB Audio adapter to connect my MacBook Pro (or PC) to the projector (or TV). Simply plug in the USB connector and Mini DisplayPort connector to a PC or Mac® and the HDMI connector to an HDMI slot in the projector or TV. Turn it on and It's that easy.

First of all, I am a real buyer and not some professional buyer that is getting paid to give an item 5 stars. THE PROS- The projector is clear. You can even see it fairly well with the lights on/daytime. The cooling fan for the projector is quiet and it doesn't get that hot at all. Lots of things inside the menu that you can adjust. THE CONS- I first bought a cheap projector($79) in the beginning and it projects BIGGER in shorter distance than this VIEWSONIC. I was disappointed how it did NOT project that big. The color is a little bit off, not true to the original picture that is coming from(dvd, iPad, etc.). The sound is NOT loud at all. You'll need to hook up an external speaker. FINAL RATING: Clear picture, needs lots of room/ distance to make the picture bigger, color is off no matter how you adjust it. Over all, it's a decent projector.This is my second week of owning it. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Tried to plug my laptop in and Bluetooth my laptop on a wireless speaker but I get no sound. Aux to audio doesn’t work either 🤦‍♂️

I bought this with some trepidation as the price is really affordable. After opening the box I could see that the projector was a quality product. I often wonder if reviews are actually real unbiased reviews. This on is. I am still impressed and have had it for a few months now. The Audio is ALWAYS bad on projectors, but this one isn't that bad. I don't use it of course, but in a pinch it is loud enough... if your not too far from it. Great projector, and especially for the $$$.

I don't know a lot about projectors, this is the first one I've owned or used BUT I've seen a couple others being used and the quality of pictures that were produced. I am so happy with this purchase. We are using this projector to watch movies outside in our back yard in the evenings. And the brightness of this projector is amazing. The quality of the picture is also amazing. We've only used it twice but both times it's work great. No problems. Easy set up, audio in/out. Others don't have the audio out capability. Over all COMPLETELY satisfied with this projector so far!!

This projector is easy to set up. It has a very clear picture that looks great on a big screen. It has a focus ring on the lens that is easy to adjust. It is also light weight and easy to transport. I was anxious for my video and program to look as good as possible so I bought a new projector to use at the small museum that I volunteer at, and this was exactly what I needed at a reasonable price.

El proyector ofrece buena imagen nítida y brillante. Los colores se ven muy bien incluoso en lugares iluminados. Lo único que no me gustó es que el sonido no es muy bueno y no trae entrada para USB, sólo micro USB y hay que comprar un adaptador pero eso no es problema. El proyector vale la pena. Yo soy maestro de inglés y lo compré para dar mis clases. Estoy fascinado. Lo recomiendo mucho además de que es buena marca es muy funcional. Excelente inversión. Gracias Amazon usa

I needed a projector for the back of the stage at the last minute for a show I was putting on. This video projector blew everyone away, very bright, held up against stage lighting, setup was a breeze, handled 6 hours+ of event video no problem. We used a long HDMI cable to the show software, and it just worked. 100% buy Viewsonic again. Will I still need a professional show projector for the long haul? Yes - but that's 3-4k so different league of product. Till then, this one is far beyond my expectations and will be used for so many other video applications and effects during our shows. Workhorse products that work with easy setup make me very happy.

We have been impressed with this projector. We have used it indoors and outdoors and it has given good picture quality and brightness. Great for outdoor cinema evenings.
