Great For Home Use
I wouldn't consider this for commercial use, but for light duty use around your home, this is a great little tool! Lightweight, and pretty ergonomically designed. It fits in my hand great, and I have small hands. It's easy to use, but does come with a learning curve if you haven't used an engraving pen before. I've only had it for a few days but I've already engraved several items in wood and metal. Great for school aged kids to make sure their name is on their things (like water bottle, lunch box, etc). It comes with a ton of different tips, which is perfect.Overall, a great little household tool!

What a handy tool!
This compact took is great. So far I've etched with it and I REALLY like it as a mini drill. My walls are plaster so putting nails/screws without knocking off chunks of plaster is difficult. I use the mini drill bit to make a starter hole. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great for small projects!
It's very small and did not realize just how small when I purchased it. However, I bought this in particular for detailing small Basswood carvings. The size and power is good enough for that. I do not know how it performs on any other types of materials. At the time of this review, I could make no comment on the duration of battery life on one full charge. Functionality and ease of use is good. One issue is the chuck and hex key used to set the bits, along with the bits themselves are very small. That may prove cumbersome to someone with limited hand and finger dexterity.

Clay tool
I've been using this on polymer clay for fine details. It's the right amount of power where is can grind off imperfections but not so gritty it chews up the clay. The bits do become clogged with clay after a while so I have to wash them but soap and water cleans them out, and they're good to go again.

Doesn’t work
Only get half speed from the minute I got it. Still a great tool bet it would be awesome if mine worked at full speed

Feel of quality. Multitude of tools.
This engraver feels good in the hand. It’s easy to grip, much like an ink pen. The selection on bits should enable it to be used for many grinding or polishing or smoothing jobs.

It’s light and easy to use
It’s great for taking paint off of metal but you have to sit there for a few minutes to get it dig deep enough to make a difference
