The locking mechanism works great. It comes with the keys. It was easy to set up the lock code. It has a light that automatically comes on when it’s opened. Is the perfect size for storing important documents, passports, jewelry or money. It’s very sturdy and well-made. I like that. It’s small enough and lightweight enough for me to relocate if I need to without assistance. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Wow this safe is really good. It's made well and works great. Easy to use and set up. The digital combination is easy to change and this has a light so when you open it you can see the interior. Comes with a fireproof bag for important focuments too. If you need a small durable safe for your room or if you have Airbnb rooms it be a great addition.

I was extremely pleased with this safe company . The size of the particular safe I ordered is perfect for storing important documents, passports, cash, jewelry, and other valuables while still fitting conveniently in my home office. The 27.6-inch height provides much more storage space than I expected, allowing room to organize everything neatly without feeling cramped. The construction feels solid and secure, and the fire protection rating gives me added peace of mind knowing that important paperwork has an extra layer of protection in case of an emergency. The door did not operate smoothly however, and the locking mechanism would not close completely due to the hinges not being adjusted properly. If it had the safe would provide excellent security. I do appreciate the adjustable interior space, which makes it easy to accommodate different types of items. Setup was straightforward, and the safe arrived well-packaged with clear instructions. Even though my safe came damaged, the company immediately responded and issued a prompt refund. Good at being a safe, it looks decent. There's two air holes in the back so this is definitely not something you want to keep valuables safe from a fire but for privacy its good to have. Two rows with the bottom being the larger one. Top row comfortably holds documents and some knick knacks and the bottom row can hold more since there's more vertical space. Number pad is neat and the solution they have to keep it powered is clever (attached battery pack). I will say an annoying part of this is that the safe entrance is quite small so it can take some maneuvering to actually get things inside (e.g. one of my file holders has to enter at a weird angle to get in there but can lay flat once in). Also the bottom has zero padding at all so you definitely want to buy some sort of mat to place under this sucker. There's zero handles to pick it up either. I'm not really frustrated or disappointed with the safe, it does the job and it does it well, it's just... lacking some features that I would have preferred it to have. If the product creators are reading this then I think at the very least adding some softer padding material on the bottom of the safe and an indented handle of some sorts would be a good quality of life improvement for consumers.

Ok I love the size of this safe, not to big and not too small. I do have one gripe, it comes with great lag bolts but the holes are 10"apart, no anyone here in the US knows studs ate 16" canter on center so 10" will anchor one in a stud and one in a wall w no stud. It does come with plastic wall anchors that will hold it in and I do suppose that indeed the safe itself is is only 15"wide so spacing holes 16" apart is an impossibility. This safe will be a deterrent but if you are buying it for the crown jewels it will only slow down someone not stop them. I would also suggest that although they list it as fireproof and waterproof that depending on what you are storing you get a few waterproof / fireproof bags to go in the safe and a little container of damp rid. NOW on the plus side, when you bolt this down to the floor and / or the wall its not going anywhere. Its cumbersome to carry by itself and would not be easily transported. With the use of the keypad it will give you quick and easy access, and if you are like me and worry about dead batteries on the keypad it comes with keys so you really can get in this fast. This will fit nicely in a closet and has ample room for handguns, and jewelry and other medium items. Its fast enough to enter that you can access it right away yet it will keep others out. > Great size, > Rapid entry > secure and immovable when bolted down.

The safe comes with maybe the worst instructions that I have ever seen, and I have seen some bad ones. At times, the instructions were also entertaining, as when they said to “keep it uncock” (that is not a typo on my end). To initially open the safe, one needs to use a key. But, one has to open a tab to reveal the key slot. This was quite difficult to open. I finally managed to do so with the aid of a small flat head screwdriver. It comes with an external battery box, but the instructions do not tell you what it is for. It turns out it is for emergencies if the regular safe batteries fail. The instructions also do not say how to use the external box (there is a female slot underneath the numbers pad that one attached it to). I eventually discovered that there is also an internal battery box with a cheap plastic door that is very difficult to open. It is supposed to slide open, but mine did not and while fooling around with it, it popped off. For the uninitiated, it was not obvious that there was an internal battery box as it was so hard to open. Because the internal box was so hard to open, initially I did not think I was supposed to. So, when the instructions said to insert 4 batteries "into the battery box” (it did not explain anything beyond that), I naturally assumed that meant what I now know is the external box. After doing some online research, I figured things out. Confusingly, there are instructions to “set user code” and “set the master code.” The latter apparently is superfluous. It is obviously a cheap design, though for the price, maybe that is all I could expect. I do like the size. I did not want to drill holes in the wall, so I put some weights I am not using into the safe to make it hopefully too heavy for a thief to carry. I am told, most thieves are in and out in 15 minutes, looking for opportunity theft. With the additional weight, the safe should protect me from them. But if the thief is a pro, forgetaboutit, with or without the weight or attaching it to the wall. I have no doubt a pro can crack a cheap safe like this one. Follow-up: The battery system failed. I have tried multiple replacement batteries, all to no avail. Key still works, of course. It is not worth the bother to box it back up and return it, but I would not buy it again.

Just received my new product and am very happy with my purchase!

Needed a new fireproof safe as my previous one was too small and snapped in two when it was accidentally dropped so started a search. Tried another one which was totally impossible to open as the door was WAY too tight & we could not get leverage with the tiny turn dial used to pull back the rods & open the door. THIS 1.2cuft fireproof / waterproof safe was GREAT. Roomy interior, easy to program my passcode, turn dial moves smoothly & door opens easily! Only had it a day but super happy with my purchase
