Book condition- 5⭐️ Book review-3⭐️
Honestly i had hard time finishing it but i did it anyhow. basically i have a lot of complaints and hate that i do because i wish i could just shut up and enjoy things but it was so much dull and boring I couldn’t . Moreover it was single POV (my first ever single pov) and i wish i knew things from luka’s side too. If above mentioned tropes are fine for you go for it.✨ It’s hard to love someone without restraint. To give yourself over to the swell and pull of it without fear of what might happen. I think it’s only natural to hold a part of yourself back and protect what you can.✨

Why is LaLa’s hair straight on the cover when it’s described curly on the cover?😭

This romance totally gave all the feels and warmth ❤️
Okay this romance totally gave all the feels and warmth ❤️This is a proper Christmas themed romance, with a best friends to lovers trope and the fake dating trope! The first half had all the feels, about the MCs' individual pasts and the progression of their decade long friendship. The second half was full of warmth and hugs and relationship development between the two MCs. I found it difficult to keep the book down, I read it over the course of a day. The book is guaranteed to make you both tear up and smile 🥲There's a lot of Christmas cheer too, the FMC literally owns a Christmas farm, so it's perfect for reading right now! 🎄

cute and fun
What would you do if your niche business were in trouble and your only way out was winning a contest hosted by a social media influencer who loves romance? Im curiousWell stella decides to fake date her best friend Luka to make her Christmas Tree business even more magical 🪄What I liked:-friends to lovers, secret pining-cutest nicknames-fake dating-holiday vibes all the way-baked goods and christmassy drinksWhat I disliked:-i feel like FMC could have benefited from therapy-i kinda felt icky about being so emotionally dependent on 1 person and expect them to be your friend, lover and supportive system-at times it was too detailed and everything was laid out (if you’ve been here for long yk i hate it when authors make their characters tell us exactly how they feel, GIVE YOUR READERS SOME CREDIT)

The perfect holiday romance 🎄
LOVELIGHT FARMS BY B.K. BORISONTinsels, candy canes, gingerbread, a wisp of holly and mistletoe, a floral wreath adorning the doorways, out and about the streets,Mirth and Magic fills the air.Tis the damn season! Can you see it as well, a little hearth, the smell of pinecones, ready to go hazel nut lattes and home-made pumpkin pies, I spy a little romance brewing on its own.Drum rolls please & please make yourself cozy with your favourite bunch of Christmas cookies, comfy pair of sweaters, socks and a steaming hot latte because trust me, you need it. Don’t say, I didn’t say, I didn’t warn you (see, what I did there)If I have put you in your very own Christmasy feels, I have the perfect holiday romance for you – LOVELIGHT FARMS.“He’s tradition and familiarity. He is homemade pop tarts on the first Saturday of the month. He is late-night viewings of Die Hard in the sticky summer heat, both of our phones propped up on our respective coffee tables. He is pizza with extra mushrooms and light sauce, a crust that has to be perfect.”ISTG,I want this to be made into a magical holiday movie to indulge myself just as the main protagonist does with “sleepless in Seattle”Introducing Stella, our very own cute, messy Christmas farm owner with a big heart and even bigger financial woes trying to put in every ounce of her effort to save her favourite place from shutting down and BAM ,she sees her chance in the form of an online contest conducted by Evelyn St James, an Insta famous influencer ,the added publicity and the cash prize might just be enough for her Christmas miracle ,except ……She lied on the application that she owns farm with her bfExcept there is no boyfriend.Enter our very own charming freckled data analyst / best friend of 9 years – Luka Peters.Looks like his Christmas is going to be less of Italian pizzas and hot chocolates and more of fake dating and his grandma’s special spaghetti and meatballs. Can their little pretend save the Love Light farms just in time for Christmas?TOP 5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD BE READING LOVELIGHT FARM“And isn’t it silly, to love the way someone’s things look like next to yours? Little bits and pieces of a life lived in parallel.”1.A perfect holiday read ummmmmmm hello look around you, it’s holly jolly Christmas time and are you seriously going to resort to self-sabotaging by not picking up a fluffy read that is going to put you in your holiday spirits, don’t be a grinch, pick it up and enjoy the small-town Christmas aesthetics, it’s all love here.2.Drool worthya. Pizza, spaghetti and meat balls, waffles, green bean casserole, turkey, hazel nut latte, tiramisu, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes …….I mean the list could dangerously go on to a point where I crave for almost all of it ,even when I live in India and I haven’t been lucky enough to try out all of this(In short it’s a bad idea to read this into the late hours of night) ,its yum and I constantly craved for a hazel nut latte through out.b.well well well its spicy , drool worthy and as for the chemistry gosh just skip to point 3 already.3.Slow burn/friends to lover / spicyI have always been against the whole long term friends falling for each other because honestly it doesn’t always work out and you ruin your chances at friend ship as well & you end up being strangers with memories but for once it was refreshing to read a book that exactly describes this plight , they did have a mutual attraction from the very beginning and it all slowly made sense ,it was slow burn that did occasionally escalate into realms of passionate love which I definitely don’t want my 14 year old sister to read so clearly its 18+ .Stella and Luka are definitely best friend goals and rightfully shows that friendship indeed is a pivotal part of any relationship.4.Makes you believe in magic, romance and gets you into Christmas spiritI have always been a big believer of Christmas miracle, the air is filled with sparkles ,fairies ,snow, a bit of magic, lets sprinkle some love and kindness to the mixture and voila ,there you have it, what I love about Christmas, reading this book was exactly what I needed and was exceptionally a right pick to get out of a horrible reading slump, told ya its Christmas miracle ,indeed this book gave me the same exact feels as a big comforter on a snowy winter’s eve.5.Well written, cute plot, comfortingI believe sometimes romance books are simply taken for what it provides rather than the plot. I Absolutely love how well written and picturesquely beautiful certain descriptions are throughout the book, it helped me to visualise the vivid imagery, I mean, look at this;“I had big dreams of a holiday season filled with magic. Kids weaving their way through the trees. Parents stealing kisses over hot chocolate. The stuff Christmas songs are written about. Young couples getting caught beneath the mistletoe. Low-hanging lights and oversized stockings. Wood railings painted red and white. Ginger- bread cookies. Peppermint sticks”“It's probably not a coincidence that I bought the place in October, There's a special kind of magic on nights like this, a certain sort of nostalgia when the past intermingles with the present and flirts with the future. I can smell the wood smoke from the fire Beckett has go ing in his place at the base of the foothills, see the plume of smoke as it lifts from his chimney. The branches rustle above me and a few owls call out, a solemn sound as the sun dips lower. For a single perfect moment, I feel like I'm in that picture my mom used to tape on the wall of whatever apartment we called home.”It’s a beautiful day to unwind and relax in the comfort of your house with your favourite people around , the towns abuzz with activity and you better not waste your time book worm, pick this one up and get cozy.P.S Don’t forget your Hazel nut lattes, thank me later (Wink)xoxo, bookmonk

Best Enjoyed with Hot Cocoa and Baked Goods
This book had everything that I usually don't gravitate towards: friends to lovers and a genuinely nice (no morally grey here) MMC. But oh my gosh, did I love this book! I am a sucker for fake dating, so that definitely helped.Stella and Luca have been friends for nearly a decade, and due to a lie on an application for a contest, Stella asks Luca to be her fake boyfriend. Set at a Christmas tree farm, it makes the perfect holiday read. It's cozy, cute, and the side characters are fantastic. I was a little worried when I started because I wanted Stella to end of with Beck, but I quickly changed my tune. The tension between Stella and Luca is so wonderful, and because they're best friends, it's full of really cute, sweet moments. It had me laughing, it had me giddy, and at one point, I was even tearing up. If I tear up while reading, I give it an automatic good rating. Luca is just such a genuinely nice guy: he's protective, takes care of her, is a mama's boy, and I love the sweet things he does for her. The author did a great job of weaving in special memories. I felt like I was witnessing something so real unfolding. I did get a little frustrated with Stella at one point, thinking her reaction was unrealistic, but the more I thought about it, the more I understood it. Plus it didn't last long.I thought about the characters when I wasn't reading. I want to visit this farm. And I can't wait to read more in the series because, as mentioned, the author does such a good job of laying the groundwork for other characters (*cough* Beckett).

oh so sweet with lots of slow burn and some spice!
4.5 stars rounded up. This was such a sweet love story! The sweet was SWEET, the spice was spice and the slow burn was top notch. Not sure I’ve ever read a long-term-BFF fake dating book before (most are strangers then fake dating) but I looooooved it and it made sense. Every time Luka would call Stella “La La” I basically melted….. wish I had me my own Luka 🥰 also I would love to visit Lovelight Farms because it sounds magical. The side characters were top notch and it’s honestly hard to believe this is B.K Borisons debut novel (albeit there were some editing mishaps I noticed but no biggie)! Very impressive. Can’t wait to keep reading the series and fall more for Beckett, Layla, Charlie and of course Luka and Stella.

I loved everything about this book!
This book is like a warm hug! I love all of the characters. Stella and Lukas chemistry was on point! Their relationship is so sweet. Let me not forget about the spice! Ooohhh she spicy and I’m here for it! It was tasteful and added to the story nicely. Really showcasing the characters feelings. This story was so wonderful. It Made me smile, laugh, tear up, and root for true love. Layla and Beckett are great characters too. They are wonderful friends to Stella and I’m so invested in each one of these characters. Good thing they each have their own story, which I can’t wait to read! Lovelight Farms has it all. Small town romance, fake dating, friends to lovers… what’s not to love! Also, I think I have a crush on Luka! ❤️Easy 5 star for me!
