On receiving these hairdressing scissors for the price, I cannot complain. The sharpness is excellent for such a good value pair There is a sharp point and precision which having a fringe is important for straightening, with no blunt edges. The size feels very comfortable in my hand especially being left handed, so works both ways. Work really well. Near the tip of the scissors is the CANDURE logo. I am not sure, and cannot comment how long these scissors will last in regards sharpness, not had them long. What I would have liked, is a nice display case or something for the scissors to be put in. All I got was a little plastic pipette to cover the blade. I would have paid a bit more for the covering. These scissors are really good and do exactly what they are meant to do. They are sharp enough to cut cleanly through hair without snagging or pulling, which makes a big difference when cutting your own hair at home. They are a good size and very easy to handle, even when doing more detailed work. I used them to do the butterfly haircut and they cut straight through my ponytail with no problem at all. I also shaped my curtain bangs with them and found them easy to control and precise. Overall, they feel solid, comfortable to use, and well made. I would definitely recommend them.

I have long hair which I normally wear up in a bun. I am not a hairdresser but as my long hair is all the same length it is not hard to trim it if you have a decent pair of scissors. I also have a fringe which needs trimming frequently. I thought these scissors were excellent. They are sharp and easy to use and even an amateur like me can use them easily and successfully. Good value for money (much cheaper than going to a hairdresser!). Happy to recommend.
