This worked as expected. Good color payoff. It does fade after several washes but that's not unusual. It is after all semi-permanent. My hair felt soft after using this.

I switched to Overtone because it contains fewer sketchy ingredients than similar products. It works really well and gives a nice depth of color even on my darker hair. Plus it smells absolutely heavenly like spearmint gum! And despite the dark color, it doesn’t stain surfaces hardly at all. I love this!

Great product overall, I got the teal color ( I forget the exact name sorry ) and used it on unbleached hair ( natural light strawberry blonde ) and it turned out well! My phone camera isn't great at capturing color, so it's more vibrant especially in better lighting. There are a couple negatives i will point out, the first being you may need a couple coats before you get the color you want. It took me two to get my roots well. This stuff is very thick and you really have to work it into your hair. Also, I would recommend waiting at least 30 minutes before washing out, the first time I followed the directions and it seemed like the dye needed more time. Second time I did 30 minutes and I was happy, it didn't wash out hardly and I got the color I was wanting. Overall I do recommend this product if you want to dye your hair but you don't want to bleach it and potentially damage hair. My hair feels super soft and has a nice shine to it.

This washes out waaaaaay faster than the other colors I've gotten from Overtone. Disappointing.

I wanted teal, I got blue denim blue out of the jar and thats the color that was put onto my hair (parts that took anyways). Iwanted to try a different product that looked to be promising, sadly disappointed and I was very wrong. Washes out fast and hardly deposited color for the $30+ dollars spent. Expensive for what it is with lacking results. Yes it stains counter tops and tubs, that normal for high pigment colors. But what it doesn't stain is the hair you put it on. While I don't mind the tea tree oil smell, I don't exactly want my hair to smell manly either. 2 stars because I have a cold and the smell may help that, its potent.
