Covers Paris
Streets and rail. Will be using for upcoming trip to Paris so, unless my initial impression changes after use, I’ll say perfect. * Update. Returned from Paris trip and the map was quite handy, especially with metro rail overlay. Had some rain so the lamination kept it dry. I would recommend

Don’t be afraid of trying something new.
Very good for mapping out how one might use the Metro to reach destinations quickly and economically. I found marked “Taxi stands” to be a bit out of date. There were many more available ways to catch cabs. However, taxis are slow, due to traffic (and taking the long way to avoid traffic) and are costly.

Should you buy it? Yes.
I just love these maps for US cities—I’m not always on my phone if I use a quickie map, and these fit in any bag. Laminated for durability, and easy size. I’m traveling around the EU this August, and I bought a Streetwise for London, for Paris, and for Amsterdam. To me, an anxiety-ridden person, the reassurance I get from carrying a small laminated map in an exterior pocket of my bag is hard to overstate. It helps me to stay focused on the trip and not on the phone. EDIT: Paris streets are confusing, and fold in metro stations having multiple exits, and it’s easy to get turned around. It took a full day to find a viable cellular network that would carry me and my phone through France—but that’s a different story. This map saved me from meltdowns and helped me to avoid asking for directions from strangers.

Handy pocket guide to Paris
This small folding map is handy for travelling around Paris by public transport. Plastic coated and durable. Major sites are noted and lots of information on the map. You will love this map.

Bought as Backup - Used as Primary method of Navigation in Paris
I bought this Paris map as a backup thinking I would use google maps and other electronic means to get from point A to B. I actually relied on this more than any other method. I would use this to plan my daily trips as it was easy to see all major landmarks as well as the metro lines. I also used the Bonjour-RATP app for metro information info and planning but to get around Paris it was easier to pull this out and flip to the area than bring out my phone, unlock it, open a Map app, and swipe left right up down to move the map to where I wanted to see. That it shows to Metro lines on the map was huge. If you are confident reading maps in general I would highly recommend these maps.

Great portable reference map!
Most of us have Googlemaps but imagine your phone is out of range or low on battery... this is brilliant! It's laminated and concertina'd so fits in a handbag. Shows Paris in it's entirety with key sites clearly visible. It's a keeper!

User friendly, packable and laminated.
This is a great map to carry around when sight seeing. It's compact & easy to read. It's amazing how many details are on this small map, including metro stations & train stations.

A real map, not a screen, with all of its merits (works without a signal or battery). Pocketable, portable even in the rain, and legible (if dense).

Great map
This map was extremely useful during my vacation in Paris. It shows all the street names, easy to read and allowed me to roam about Paris easily. Sturdy construction, and perfect size to carry around on your journeys.

This is a Must, even if using a Sat Nav.
A must for that Trip to Paris, France. You need to Read this when that Sat Nav is getting you Confused.
