I purchased this iBirdie hot tub cover for my LifeSmart LS100DX spa, and the 73” x 62” size fit perfectly. I bought this cover mainly to protect the expensive thermal hot tub cover underneath from sun, rain, dirt, leaves, and the elements. The 600D material feels heavy-duty and well made, and the waterproof design gives me confidence that it will hold up outdoors. The fit is much better than I expected, and it stays in place nicely while providing an extra layer of protection for my spa and thermal cover. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. If you have a LifeSmart LS100DX, this cover is a great fit and a worthwhile upgrade for helping extend the life of your expensive hot tub cover while keeping your spa clean and protected.

I purchased the iBirde SPA COVER (protective) to extend the useful life of the original vinyl insulation cover. The vinyl cover is now in its 9th year of service, which I judge to be pretty good considering its location under the intense sun in South Central Texas. I contribute its longevity to the original product quality and regular cleaning and use of 303 Aerospace Protectant. The vinyl surface is now beginning to show signs of deterioration as small surface cracks start to develop as plasticizers in the vinyl breakdown. Meanwhile, the condition of the foam core and the stitched seams are generally good shape and I judge the addition of the iBirdie protective cover is a cost-effective means to protect the vinyl from further deterioration and extending its useful life. As an aside, I now understand the use if a vinyl conditioner in addition to the 303 Aerospace Protectant would have been beneficial. I was pleased with the quality and fit of the 90’ x 90” iBirdie cover. I was concerned that it would be like a typical plastic tarp material but instead it has a nice fabric texture. The black iBirdie cover is a 600D polyurethane (PU)-treated fabric and should hold up well with periodic cleaning, plus UV and waterproofing treatment. The 600D fabric weight appears to be the right balance for availability, durability, weight, handling and cost. One of the reasons I chose this product is for its four adjustable buckles and waterproof zippers on each corner ensure a secure fit for your spa cover and ease of handling. I did not want to have to remove and install this protective cover before and after operating the installed hard vinyl cover. The corner buckles and zippers allow unrestricted operation of the hard cover while the iBirdie cover remains in place. Finally, the cover is provided with helpful covered vents. If the iBirdie cover proves to be durable, considering its quality, fit, and features should make it a worthwhile purchase.

Excellent cover for your hot tub hard top cover. This a a great cover for your hot tub’s insulated cover. This is a great way to protect your main insulating cover from the elements. Fits our 77x77 tub great. A bit of slack but not excessive - makes it easy to put on and take off. I can’t say if it reduces heat loss and power consumption since we bought it with the hot tub by I believe it does. It comes about half way down the side of the tub so stands to reason it’s going to prevent more heat loss than just the insulated cover alone which only has small flaps draping over edge top of tub. Durability is good. We have had this on an uncovered patio for about. - year and it still looks like new. It is indeed water proof. Granted that patio is east facing between houses so it doesn’t get hammered by late afternoon sun but it definitely gets mid day sun. Inland northwest so you’ve got hot summers, spring storms, and snow in winters. Shows very little wear. NOTE - several people have complained about this falling apart and leaving residue on your tub. That is it going to happen if you use this as I tened. This is NOT a Cover for your hot tub itself / directly over water. It’s a cover for your insulated cover to keep it from getting beat up by UV rays and keep it from getting water logged. Highly recommend.

I have been very pleased with this cover. It is doing exactly what I had hoped which is keep the weather conditions such as sun and rain from wearing on my more expensive hot tub cover underneath. It is easy to handle and I am able to just fold it over a couple times and lift hot tub cover/lid and this cover stays tucked between the folds of hot tub lid. When we are finished I simply close lid unfold the cover and reclip the corner clips.

Addendum: 10 months now on this cover. Overall, a good cover. The material that seemed thin has held up well to the heat, cold and wind. However, the zippers which are very small did not fare well as predicted. They became hard to close despite silicon lube. Then they broke as not being able to zip due to teeth failure. This would be a much better cover if it had bigger, more durable zippers. Again, overall, a good cover that would be excellent if it had zipper upgrade. This is for the excellent iBirdie hot tub cover 85 x 73 inches. First, it perfectly fit my Master Spa Twilight Series 67.25 spa with Ultralift Boomerang cover lifter! This is the only cover I have found / used that fit like it was made specifically for my spa. It fits over the expensive hard foam spa cover like a glove. The seams are taped and stitched well. All four corners have zippers and strap closure. The zippers and straps make opening the cover quick and easy. Even in high winds the cover has stayed on the spa. It is also very reasonably priced. I would buy again and may well just to have a spare on hand. Very pleased with this cover and gets five stars from me. Best cover I have found for my spa. That said, my wish list: 1) I wish it came in some other color than black, probably great for the cold north. In the heat of southwest USA the black gets hot enough to fry an egg in 30 seconds. A light tan would be great addition. 2) The fabric is a bit thin in hand. With the sun's heat being absorbed by the black color I wonder how durable the cover will be. Time will tell. Of course, at the price could buy one every year, but rather have it last few years. 3) The zippers are rather small in size. Would be nice to have beefy zippers, again for durability.

Perfect fit! Only had it a couple of weeks but has been HOT and now raining and the cover is doing great. I got a new top for my swim spa and this covers it. Easy to install and ties up on the ends to keep it from blowing off. I’m hoping it also keeps the wasps from building under the lip of the spa. Looks good too. Going good so far!

Hold out everything and keeps in what it belongs. Very good product and lightweight. One year with it and keeps working.

Great Cover. Fits my 84 x 84 inch hot tub perfectly. Snug and water tight. Just relocated from Michigan to Florida. Michigan winters and Florida summers are 2 very extreme weather, one snow and sub zero freezing the ither hot, humid and lots of rain at times. $50.00 is a lot less expensive than $700.00 for new cover. This is my second cover. Previous was different brand. It was 4 years old when I replaced it.

So happy I bought this as just don’t another $800 on an actual hot tub cover. They wear out so fast the industry should be ashamed. Or at least warranty them. Fades in sun and gets waterlogged. So this new protector has been amazing. Keeps seeds and leaves out of cracks of actual cover, keeps cover from fading. Keeps it clean from pollen in the spring, dust and debris in summer. It’s a breeze to put on. Stands up to the elements on the winter. I’d buy again and highly recommend.

Genuinely pleased with the quality of this cover. I was a little sceptical because of the reasonable price but it's better than my original cover which cost 3x as much and only lasted about 18 months. The buckles and straps are a good idea and seem fairly sturdy, I don't expect them to last forever. It seems water resistant so far but I'm mainly concerned about keeping the sun off my main cover as this seems to cause the most damage. I ordered the 85 by 73 inch and its actually about 85 by 75 which was better for me but the straps pull the cover to fit really well. Happy so far, photos attached.
