Everything arrived as expected and the instrument sounds great. I did have to repair the sound hole covers though. They fell out - a factory fault I think, simple enough to fix but not something you expect to have to do on a brand new instrument!

Ein echtes Dobro mit allen Details und im Prinzip sauber gearbeitet. Man muss allerdings selber was vom Setup verstehen. So war einfach der Spider mit dem Steg um 180 Grad verkehrt eingesetzt und die blanken Saiten lagen in zu großen Schlitzen und schnarrten, während die Bass-Saiten aus ihren zu dünnen Schlitzen sprangen. Nach einer kleinen Exkursion in das Instrument-Innere könnte ich mich so überzeugen, dass die Holzarbeiten ordentlich gearbeitet sind und dem klassischen Muster genau entsprechen. Danach klingt es wunderbar, genau wie erhofft.

I was a little skeptical about buying an instrument through Amazon but I decided to take a chance. It didn't come with a case so I was worried it would get destroyed in shipping but it came double boxed and the guitar itself and the inner box was wrapped with bubble wrap, it was absolutely fine. I bought this to replace my broken Regal resonator guitar (which cost more than this) and was expecting to have to do a setup on it but it plays perfectly, although the string gauge seems a little heavier than what I use but it plays great, the action is a little high but is setup perfect for bottleneck slide. I'm sure a tweak of the truss rod would lower the action if needed. It's a short scale length which makes it pretty comfortable to play. I guess if I had one complaint it's that it doesn't have a cutaway like my old Regal but I knew that going in, although this guitar seems to have better tone than my Regal so maybe the cutaway takes away from the tone. This is a steal for $250, about half the pice of Guitar Center or other online dealers.
