Horrible
This paint absolutely sucks, biggest waste of money, I sand blasted my calipers, nice and pitted perfect for paint to stick to, it's been 3 days and this crap peels off like a vinyl wrap, not to mention that it is so hard to sand blast off now because it's all gummy, I can't believe I wasted as much money as I did on this crap, the cheap ass duplicolor caliper paint at any auto parts store works way better than this, what a waste don't buy it

Great paint. Bad spray cans = wasted paint
I wanted gloss black so I used caliper paint on my wheels. I primed with transtar black shade primer (automotive grade 1k primer). 2k primer would be better but I had my reasons. The paint itself is excellent. The cans are awful. Unless you are spraying a wall or anything straight up and down, they quit spraying with a third or more of a can left. Rust-Oleum cans spray at any direction and cost a 6th of what these do. When I am paying this much for a can of spray paint, I expect to be able to all of it. As you can see from the pictures, it comes out really nice. That was 2 light coats, 1 medium and then a heavy. No flash timeb on light coats other than the time it took to coat 4 rims. Five minutes extra between medium and wet. It was 58 degrees and sunny with 50% humidity. I let them sit in the sun for 2 hours to warm up before spraying. Four 18 inch wheels will take at least 3 cans but honestly you need four to be safe. I got it on sale for 11.99 a can directly through Eastwood and used all 5 cans i bought. Side note: Everyone would say it was too cold to use a 2k paint. I think the results speak for themselves.
