120°F Limit-Style Snap-Disc Temperature Switch on Magnetic Bracket

This is a very nice gizmo. Works perfectly as described. You have to know, of course, how to wire it into a fan. But it turns on and off exactly as described, and the magnet is plenty strong to hold it in place. The fan I got AC Infinity HS1238A-X Standard Cooling Fan worked fine, but it was a little too noisy for where we wanted it. So I am going to use this switch in a different old heater that is not working right, and I am sure it will do the job.

closes on rise not open on rise. have not installed but tested it does work, tested with meter in heat and cold. Tested in my wood stove works great turns fan on, on temp. rise, turns fan off on temp. drop.

I've always been annoyed with the overly complicated and failure-prone remote control set-ups that you see with most gas fireplaces. So when my remote controller failed I removed all of that and replaced it with one of those basic mechanical one -hour timer wall switches for the fireplace itself, and this snap-disk wired to the blower. Now it's just spin the timer to whatever time I want it to be on, and the blower comes on / goes off automatically when it should. Simple and reliable!

I bought this switch to replace my failing 12 year old sensor in my gas fireplace. The old Heat n Glo sensor was plastic and fit in a metal holder mounted on the side of the fireplace. Unable to find the same replacement, I ordered this sensor through Amazon. The magnet holds the sensor to the metal making it real easy to relocate it to anywhere on the top of the fireplace. I had to also replace the short high temp wires going to the plug in. It works perfectly, automatically turning the fan motor on at 120 degrees and off at 90 degrees. Saved $80 service call from local repairman. 3 day delivery. VERY satisfied.

I received my Snap-Disc Temperature Switch on Magnetic Bracket order without the magnet. It was also different from the picture of what I ordered. It has "SELCO CA120" written on sensor, but the metal holder also has an open slot where the sensor is attached and only glue where maybe there was a magnet. There was not a loose magnet in shipping box so I conclude I was shipped a defective item. I am not a happy camper about this order.Cordially, William Self

Bought this for our fireplace blower and the glue on the magnet melted during the first use. I will reglue with something able to take the heat and this is what it should have been like from the manufacturer.

Worked perfectly! My fireplace blower stopped working. Finally figured out it was the switch. Couldn't find one locally, so I ordered this one with my fingers crossed that it would work with our fireplace. Only problem I had, had nothing to do with the switch. It was easy and simple to place! Now the blower works and is circulating the heat as it should. Couldn't be happier!

Used it on a wood stove. It said lasted for so many cycles on and off. That was about 1 year use. Was worth the money spent, saved electricity
