Happy with it
Works amazing easy to use once you figure out the correct settings so your not over loading it at first. Very happy with it.

Works great
We run several pieces of machinery with this brand of VFD, from 1hp to 10hp. After several years using them we are more than happy and would recommend to anybody We did have one problem a couple of years ago, we wrote to manufacturer. Their guy helped fix the problem and that VFD hasn’t skipped a beat since. It was our error in programming that caused the problem

Does what it should.
So far so good. I used it for a 3 phase Bridgeport mill. I was able to setup the original Bridgeport forward/reverse switch to send the forward/reverse signal to the drive. I set all the other parameters to match the info from the mill's motor. It works great. Does what it should. For a really low price. I hope it lasts, but time will tell!

Works just fine
Yep, it works just fine and fairly easy to program for use. Biggest problem I have is I like to program so the RPM is displayed. This is the first VFD I've used that when RPM is programmed in, it displays "0" when motor isn't running. As a result, you have no idea what speed the motor will be running until it's running. Not the best option at all. All the other VFDs I've used (7? of at least 3 maybe 4 different manuf/models) display the set RPM, then start motor and that is the numbers displayed. Understand none of the VFDs display actual RPM, only the requested RPM is displayed as there is no feedback from motor to VFD. At $60 I'll order more of them. I use freq displayed, that provides a decent idea of what the RPM will be.

Please read below
If you want smooth motor control at low RPMs spend more money. If you are happy with variable control between 50% and 100% you can’t beat the price.

Worked like a charm on my 2hp grizzly shaper
Great little device. I used this on my 3ph shaper. I do not have 3ph at my shop, so I always run little convertors. My shaper is sorely needed but I haven't been able to get a convertor for it, so we haven't been able to use it. Its an older 2hp Grizzley shaper. It had a simple on/off button and a f/r lever originally. We rewired it and this little device handles it all now. Takes our incoming 1ph 220v and converts to 220v 3ph and even has speed control and reverse built in. What a great solution! For only $85 it makes all the 3ph shop equipment viable again. Its been too expensive to convert it all until now. The directions aren't the best, but I was able to figure it out pretty fast anyway. There's so much 3ph woodworking equipment for sale for cheap because nobody has 3ph at home, with a VFD like this that includes a convertor, there's no reason not to grab a good deal on that equipment and run it from one of these. Great idea - great execution on this product! Thanks!

Overheated
Seemed to work well for about an hour with no load on the driven motor. Then started to smoke. Internal capacitor had blown. As an experienced engineer, I could troubleshoot and repair. Instructions are typically difficult to decipher. Many aspects of setup left unaddressed or vague.

3 phase motor controller, not converter!
I somehow misunderstood the information about this. I thought this was a single to three phase converter, not a motor speed controller. That said, it does have a good fit and finish, the controls are easy to read. The instructions are .. there, but not the easiest to decipher. I can't speak to the level of accuracy of speed control, but the display is digital with an analog (variable, no detentes) control knob.
