Great addition for the "Home Chef." Very easy to use. For me, it has the right weight, quality, and durability. Seasoned very well and provides a very good non-stick interior surface.

If you've been thinking of buying a wok for the first time, but are a bit put off by the high cost of many brands, THIS is the set for you! This is basically a beginners wok set. The wok itself is pretty sturdy and should be quite serviceable for many years. And the price is a no-brainer. You get a pretty nice set of tools to work with and if you decide that a wok is not for you, or if you want to upgrade, then you haven't invested a bunch of money in it. And at the very least you have a good set of tools in the bargain! It comes from the factory with some sort of light non-stick coating, but that's not a selling point, it just helps you as a beginner. You should still season it regularly as if it were uncoated metal. Also, as noted in some of the other comments here, the wok handle needs to be secured by a long eyebolt that if not tightened properly could make the handle loose. I torqued mine down really well and have had no problems with it so far. If it loosens up, I'll just tighten it up again. Same for the handle on the lid. It's my first wok and so far, after a couple of weeks of using it, I feel I got a good value for my money.

I am loving this wok! When I ordered, I came very close to choosing a more expensive one recommended on several cooking posts. However, this seemed like a lot for the price and I decided to give it a try. So glad I did! I've been using it several times a week for about a month, and it has been non-stick since the first use and getting better and better. I did season as instructed. I was hesitant to use on my highest gas burner setting at first because it has a huge hot flame, but have gained confidence to use on high as suggested to get the desired "wok hei", and like I said, each dish I cook is better than the last. I will note that the included utensils are not what I would choose for my kitchen, so I did order a longer handled wok spatula. I will use the ones that came with the wok in our camper, as that will be a more suitable use for them. The wok is very easy to clean just with hot water and a gentle scrub. Cleaning gets easier with each use just as the non-stick surface does. I store the wok with the included felt liner and in the bag, and look forward to years of experimenting with all sorts of Asian recipes.

This wok has a coating and it peels off, not good unless you like to eat whatever it is. Handle fell off after a few months of use.

Great wok pan ! I liked a lot ! Heavy, well built and the accessories are fantastic ! Just not clear enough how to assemble the handle, the instructions need to be more precise and more graphically illustrated because you simply don't get any printed instructon on how to do it andthe picture in the website, at least to me, didn't help much ! Besides that, I recommend !
