how much current does it used per 5 meter a 24V?

DC24V3A is enough for DC24V 5meters FCOB LED strip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09T6QQ2W5?ref=myi_title_dp

Does the brightness decrease along the length of the strip and if so, can power be injected at other places to reduce the brightness drop-off?

Yes ,the brightness decrease along the length of the LED strip . The LEDs at the far end of the strip might be dimmer because of the added resistance and voltage drop that occurs as the current flows to that end of the strip. This is a normal physical phenomenon, and all the LED strip cannot avoid this problem. The factors that affect brightness are： 1.Length . If your project is too long , the voltage drops . 2.Power supply . Make sure the power is enough for the project . 4.Brightness. The brighter the brightness, the more the consumption 5.LED quantity . More LEDs ,need more power . Solution： 1.Adding voltage every 5 meters (16.4ft) . 2.Lower brightness 3.Enough power 5.Using DC24V LED strip. 6.Less LEDs You can use DC24V or this kind of sigal amplifier : https://www.amazon.com/LEDENET-Single-Amplifier-Repeater-Channel/dp/B01LY7M712/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3UIQ04SAZ6I9L&keywords=single+color+signal+amplifier&qid=1656645595&sprefix=single+color+signal+amplifie%2Caps%2C297&sr=8-3

Can I cut this into multiple strips?

Yes ， you can cut it . There is a cutting point on the FPCB board , Follow the point line and cut it .

Can I cut this to make 90 degree corners with an adapter?

yes , you can search the 8mm width FCOB connector on amazon , you can find this kind of L shape connector
