A beautiful shade of warm brown. For starters, hi redhead women! I love you all. I am not one of you, in fact I am greenhead and just enjoy making eccentric makeup choices. I am not the target audience at all, but I am glad I found this mascara! I was looking for a dupe of Heroin Make’s brown mascara because for the life of me I couldn’t remove it without the force of a thousand warriors and THIS IS IT!! What a lovely product. From the sentiment, to the ease of application, to the color, and to the breezy removal. This is the one girls!I have found my whimsical brown mascara that pulls the attention to my big brown iris, yet allows for length & a pop of color. Will be returning for more when this is completed.

I’m not a redhead one. I’m slavic girl with pale skin, light hair tone and blue-gray eyes. And FINALLY I’VE GOT A RIGHT COLORED BROWN MASCARA. A lot of brown mascara (from budget and luxury market segments) look way darker than I expect. Ginger color makes my eye color so bright , my eyes really pop, it works like a magic. Love love love❤️❤️❤️

I'm a very fair skinned ash/honey blonde, and I always felt like black mascara looks too harsh in contrast to my white eyebrows and you can see my blond lashes through the black mascara. I decided to buy this even though I'm not a ginger/redhead but it looks so good! It looks great in all types of lighting and I think the color works for me really well. I knocked off a star for the rating because the formula IS dry. It's not super clumpy to me, just more pasty of a consistency than I would like, the brush is ok tho. I usually swipe a coat on and take a clear Maybelline mascara and sorta hydrate it that way so it thins the formula out a bit, making it easier to spread. I really wish it wasn't this expensive, but seeing as this and a brow pencil are my ONLY makeup products, I will likely re purchase. It's really too bad mascara doesn't really exist for the super light blond girlie but I'm glad I found one that works well enough for a more natural look. I got the genuine ginger color

WOW!!! Definitely glad to have found this product. I wish I could kick every company selling “brown” - they’re ALWAYS too dark. I can’t believe it has taken so long for someone to start making an honest brown, even with the touch of auburn, for a mascara shade! FOREVER thankful and will only buy this moving forward! Product doesn’t clump, goes on smoothly, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes!1 year update: I’ve purchased and used both variants - Genuine Ginger and Honest Auburn. I typically use the lighter for daytime and auburn in the evening or if applying more makeup on the rest of my face. The formula in the tube does dry out fairly quick, and often I have to warm up the tube, add in a couple saline drops to thin it out. Originally I figured this could be due to cleaner ingredients, like how we see preservatives in our foods, but I also feel this lessens the value. Still the best option available on the market for redheads and my go-to!

Goes on smooth, not clumpy and adds a nice, natural color for "no makeup" days.

This stuff is EVERYTHING you don't want in a mascara: clumpy, dry, unsaturated in color that does not stick and is not consistent throughout the lashes...it's just terrible. What angers me the most about this product though, is that I was looking at TWO other mascaras, and I could have bought them BOTH for what I paid for this garbage. I feel tricked, but I'm the one with power here, because...We may be the 2%, but keep this in mind: red hair is HEREDITARY, and all of my ginger family members will know that they're better off saving their $25 every month or two and buying something that is both more affordable AND of higher quality. That's the REAL "revolution". A $25 lesson that is worth every penny.

As a natural strawberry blonde, the ginger color of this mascara is fantastic on my very blonde eyelashes. The closest match for a truly natural look without being too dark. My problem with the mascara is that it arrived dried out. Whether this is due to the formula itself, improper storage or being beyond the best by date, I have no way of knowing. I did add saline eye drops and put the tube in warm water which allowed decent application but I seemed to start flaking off within an hour or so. I ended up using the wand from a mascara I love, that was still very moist but a little too dark, and the combined color was pretty nice and it lasted all day without flaking.This mascara is priced too high to not to be fresh every time. If I do chance it again it will be because of the much more natural color.

Gorgeous colour, nice and subtle compared to black mascara. It is a little bit dry though.

So incredibly disappointed with this! Took weeks to arrive which I was ok with because I thought it would be worth the wait (& the money!)The mascara looks like a medium brown - I’ve had lighter brown mascaras elsewhere for far cheaper. This was absolutely not worth the price I paid for it. I doubt I’ll use this to be honest as it’s darker than I prefer.Be careful of the hype gingers!! :-(

The pros - colour is perfect, best colour match I have ever found as a very pale redhead with white eyelashes, it doesn’t look harsh or false at all.The cons - it is so dry and clumpy, it goes on as if it’s been open for 6 months. As a first time user I don’t know if I just have a faulty product or if they are all like this. I will purchase again to see if the next is any different as the colour is spot on.
