So good I bought it... 4 times?
These are a great little pair of headphones. I've bought them 4 times. I've HAD to buy them 4 times. I got them for gym/walking; the theory being that if they slip out, I wouldn't lose them like I feel I'd lose earbuds. For this they work great, I even use them at home to listen to youtube and game too now. The design -- a necklace with earbuds hanging off it -- is a neat little trick. Out of the 3 I've had to replace, 2 of them had the left earbud start to fail, getting noticeably quieter than the right. I suspect I instinctively pull to the left when separating them from each other (they're magnetic), which puts stress on the left bud, which weakens the wire or connection eventually. This is probably my fault, not Anker's, I'm sure in the manual it says not to do that. The other 1 time I've replace it was the power button just not working. That was soon enough after buying that I got a swap from Amazon. Anyway they're comfortable, the audio is good, if they fall they don't go anywhere. The microphone is fine, no complaints with my calls on it. Bluetooth connectivity is good, it reaches throughout the house. It charges very quickly (~1 hour is usually enough) and it lasts more or less a day's worth of sitting and working while listening to tunes. For $20 they're a no brainer, the second I noticed the left ear was getting quiet I ordered another one immediately. I probably should order a spare, too.

I Prefer These Over Individual-Ear Headphones For Office Use
Have bought slightly different versions of these Anker headphones over the last few years. I actually prefer these over the neck type headphones because you can remove the earpieces and leave them hanging when not in use. Both earpieces are magnetic to each other so don't swing super crazy either. When you need them again, just grab the earpiece and insert in ear again. Not as easy to lose as the now more popular individual ear headphones. Battery life is extremely good. Sound quality is excellent in both phone calls and watching videos. I listen to music all day in my office as well take phone calls and will last me anywhere from 3-4 days of all day use. Also, because the earpieces are corded, other people can tell you have headphones on and not mistakenly think you're talking to them when on the phone.

Practical and Reliable
I'm pretty utilitarian when it comes to electronics, and to that end these earbuds are perfect. They are cheap, reliable, have a long battery life, and are hard to lose (since they fit around your neck). They also consistently pair with my Windows computer without any fuss. A couple of minor drawbacks: they tend to slip off my shoulders when running or during high intensity workouts. I use a safety pin to fasten them to my shirt to prevent this. Also, the sound quality is only OK. It's fine for the price point, but audiophiles should look elsewhere for a richer audio experience. Overall, I really like these earbuds and I've already purchased four pairs.

My favorite headset over and over
Easy to connect via Bluetooth & a easy to use design, i love that I don't have to keep something in my ear but is ready right there for me when im ready to reconnect, not off getting lost like most headsets today. They are comfortable on neck, I've forgotten I'm wearing them a few times. I also like a change they have made with this model that if nothing is playing it will partially disconnect and play ringtone and stuff over phone then when you start music or shows it will reconnect (just takes about 3 secs). i can normally run about 2 shifts on a charge but it fastly charges so even if I forget to charge and plug it in on the drive to work about 20-30 min it's plenty to get be through my shift and beyond. comes with different size rubbers and sound is perfect and clear even with my slight hearing lose. The design keeps headset at the ready for any time use ear peice cord is just right length its not in the way and magnetic so they stick together out of way when not in use but do stick to anything metal. can use my phone charger to charge so no special cords. these are my go to headsets and bonus so not overpriced which is always a win!

This "upgraded" model doesn't stay in my ears. Randomly shut off.
Update 4/20/24: I didn't think these could get worse but they did. The description claims BT 5 however when I tried pairing with my laptop while still connected to my phone I couldn't. Never had a problem doing that and just using the device I needed with the Soundcore Life U2 headphones. Now I can't even connect with these pieces of dung. Anker, you let me down. For years I've been telling people they can't go wrong with Ankor products (e.g. loose Micro USB after seizure & dropping yet STILL it reliably charged AND you guys reached out to me to replace it with my 4 star rating.) Everyone in my family has either a battery, cables or headphones from you guys now. If this is what's being put out now then sadly I can't get behind your products anymore. Even my wife, who has argued with me over not being able to see the difference between 1080 and 4K, said her pair sounded bad and has poor battery life and keeps trying to convince me to get something else. Original: I had purchased the older Soundcore Life U2 earbuds about 4 times (for myself, plus more for others) because the battery, sound and comfort were all top notch. I have used the awesome warranty on all because either the right earbud quit working or more commonly the power button broke. I still rated the Life U2 at 5-stars because of the warranty and they actually were pretty dang good. With almost constant use throughout the day I only needed to charge them about once every 3 days. During the last warranty exchange I was told the Life U2 was no longer being made however they'd send me the current U2i. The earbuds on the Life U2i don't fit my ears using the same size (biggest) silicone tips and fall out of both ears when doing basic life things. The battery needs charged every day now and they sound kind of muddy (even with bass boost off). My wife has the same problems with hers up to this point. MINE also randomly disconnect from my phone some days. My wife hasn't had *this* problem with her set. I added the sport thing (not included, from old Soundcore Life U2 earbuds) behind the silicone tip and that has helped a little. I probably have to fix them only half as much now. Running or rough ground they will fall out. I used to be able to play for a couple more hours when the first low battery message played. Now I don't get an hour. If these were the first Ankor earbuds I had purchased rather than first of many they would have also been the last. Knowing how the power button kept breaking I believe they may be fixed with this new design of it being smaller. Anker Soundcore Life had a really good run, unfortunately now it's time to find something else. I'm already screwing around with these.

Okay. As advertised, for the most part.
These are acceptable for use when you don't care if you lose them. The sound quality is okay, although they do not allow for a very high volume, like blasting in your eardrums. I operate loud equipment and have a hard time to hear the music clearly due to the background noise of my machinery. I am thinking of adding ear muffs over top to help drown out the background noise. The ear pieces are an awkward fit in your ears, too. I tried all of the different sizes and found the 'medium' fits my ears the best, but they still have a tendency to become loose and will fall out. The instruction manual was pretty vague about operating the headset. I had to go online to read how to connect them, through Bluetooth, to my iPhone. Also, the base boost amplification is modest, at best. That, too, took a while to figure out how to activate. The sound is far better with the base boost activated. Lots of combinations of pressing buttons and holding for 1 to 5 seconds depending on what you're trying to activate. The neck band is good. It is lightweight, no issues with that. The range is good. I walked about 60 feet (18 meters) away and still had a connection to my iPhone. Mostly it is as advertised.

Great Sound Quality
These are awesome. I've always loved Anker/Soundcore and this product is no exception. The fit is great the ear plugs work well. the neck band is slightly longer than needed. the battery life works great for me too. my only complaint is that the controls are on the left hand side not my right hand. so there's some adjustment there. Otherwise this is a great pair of bluetooth earbuds.

too bright, tinny, and muddled in both earbuds and microphone
At first I had hope for this product as audio-only content sounded OK and the microphone was quite sensitive, unlike most cheap headphones where the mic sounds like it's in a cup of water on the other side of the room. Then problems developed. First, on both Android and Mac, the headphone would disconnect (with accompanying tones) whenever media would stop playing, and then seek for a connection until the media started playing again. I messaged Anker and after a fair amount of testing, they sent me a new pair (OK customer service for a low-end product!) The new headphones did not have the same dropping/reconnecting issue, but others emerged The headphones have pretty appauling music reproduction. Without extra bass on they are way too overblown in mids and highs, extremely muddled mids and barely audible lows. With bass extension on it's... the same, but with somewhat better bass volume. And the microphone which sounded great when I tested it in a quiet room, is unusable with any background noise - it clearly picks up reasonably quiet conversations in the next room. Traffic, sinks, music, or someone chatting 10 meters away will all come through as clear as if they were right beside you. I have samples of the microphone but Amazon doesn't allow uploads of .mp3. I compared these directly to Rythflow bluetooth neckband earbuds (4*) the Sony WI-C200 (3*) and the Skullcandy JIB+ (2*) and I only preferred the Anker Life over teh Skullcandy JIB+ (which are exceptionally bad). Overall, unless you will only use it to listen to voices, and will use the microphone in extremely quiet surroundings, I do not recommend these even at their low price point.
