It fits under standard toilet seats. If you can buy a standard over-the-counter seat for your toilet, this will fit.

Does it matter if you have a round toilet rather then oblonged toilet?

This did not fit our oblong toilet. The distance between the edge of our bowl and the center of the bolts for our toilet is 3.5" so the bidet could not be fastened properly and was loose. The max as stated in instructions is 3.10"
