Recently purchased this product to block the heat and sun through a 47 in x 93 inch window that is close to the street. What a difference as it blocks the heat and sun that normally beats into our home in high summer. Easy installation, versatility to cut and fold easily or double up thickness where needed. Each order comes with sticky tabs for adhesion to the window frame. I added a roll of clear 2 inch window weather sealing tape to my amazon order. This was used to seal a fold edge, adjusting for window sizing, or to help it stay in place if needed. The double reflective bubble foil insulation is light weight and cuts smoothly. Works effectively and is durable where needed. When I am done for the summer season it is flexible enough to roll up and store away much like a sun shield used in a car. I highly recommend buying more than one package. You will want the extra to use in other windows this summer if needed with the Super El Nino 2026!

So I'm going to SUV that I have to work out of and I've got the large size cargo carrier on the rear hitch. I've also got solar panels on the top. So with this one 4 by10 ft long piece, I made a cover for the black bag they included which you're going to have an oven otherwise, And stop right there because this works so well basically we've got 48 in which will tuck into the back and front 12 inches and nicely cover the rest I don't even have to tie it down in the front or back I just pull out the front and flip it back and I have access however I do have tie-down straps for the entire load which are the standard harbor freight black four to a pack for 20 bucks. So I cut just a little bit more than 5 ft maybe 62 inches, And it sticks off each end just slightly which I just I can ignore it or I can tuck it in just a little bit but from the strap to the end is only a couple of feet if that and it's been behaving itself really well This stuff is very tough and here it's really paying off. Now on top of that I'm trying to engineer the remaining strip to make a sun booster for the solar panels which can increase the rate of charge as much as 90%. This actually works but getting it set up is a little tricky because you can't leave it in place obviously. And then on top of that I'm using a small piece and I'm going to glue it using blots of shor goo to my mobile refrigerator which 90% of them come black and so any sun coming in through the window is going to heat it up and waste you know it's just not a good idea and this is ideal. So there is literally no heat building up with direct sun at 80° plus temperature. The straps get hot and nothing else. And the reflective quality for the solar panels to eat is not as good as a mirror but it's really good It's literally casting full daylight can't wait till I get that up. It literally is saving me 300 plus dollars for a bigger battery and extra gasoline to charge it using a generator.

Great product - keeps the heat out with south and west facing windows. I used a spring rod against the glass and frame to hold in place.

This is a thin insulation, that was ok as I used it to beef up my current RV insulation. It is a nice, large piece of material. Came with some handy sticker tabs. Intended for reflection behind a furnace. I cut it to fit and thicken up my current insulation for rv windows and roof vents.

I used this in my greenhouse during freezing rain and cold temperatures when I needed a little extra insulation. I’ve purchased another brand in the past that was slightly thicker, but this still helped keep some of the cold out. I was also covering my plants with flannel sheets and packing blankets, so everything combined made a difference. It’s easy to work with and looks durable enough (I haven't had a problem). The adhesive pieces that came with it didn’t really hold, but honestly I’ve tried other brands with similar results, so I wasn’t expecting a miracle there. Even with the harsh weather, I managed to save most of my plants, so I’d say it did its job when I needed it.

The ultimate heat protection to mount on older exterior windows. Noon to sunset direct sun is no match for this awesome product on my 56 year old windows. Also excellent for keeping cold drafts out in the winter. Who Knew?
