Attractive Quality
Our use case of these pans is largely supplemental to our stainless-steel pans. Stainless makes great scrambled eggs, but at the cost of scraping and cleaning later. We had a set of non-stick green pans prior to these for eggs, but they were old, and the coatings were wearing to less than desirable conditions. These Martha Stewart pans came along and had a lot of intriguing qualities with heavy gauge aluminum with a coat of exterior porcelain. They look gorgeous in person with the linen color. The handles feel solid and the attached pan sturdy. The pans as a whole have a nice heft to them without being too heavy. It took me a while to research and decipher what the “Reinforced, triple-layer Platinum SR coating” designation meant, but I believe they are referencing the Teflon Platinum Plus coating with 50 percent more scratch resistance. Which is a high-end coating if it is.I’m not sure how to represent how these pans cook, but overall, I like them. They balance the characteristics of a largely nonstick pan with some of the searing ability of a cast iron pan. Which is interesting as I use these pans largely to make scrambled eggs and they have a more browned and textured finish at completion.I’ve also caramelized garlic and onions in butter pretty well. It does seem like if you forget about them for a few minutes they can sometimes burn a bit. Never had any issues with a full burn though. Chicken breasts also cook nicely in the pan and come out with a nice texture.Cleaning is still pretty easy and most food releases. Is it as easy as a full-stop non-stick pan? Mostly, but I did overcook some onions and garlic a bit and had to work at cleaning the pan a bit more. Probably my fault using an oil-based butter.Overall, this is a nice set that bridges our stainless and cast iron for things like scrambled eggs. I appreciate the thoughtfulness put into the finishes of the pan and I am curious to see how the exterior enamel coating wears. I am confident the interior coating will last for a long time without chips and scratches.

These can take a beating
The pans are very high quality. I got these as a gift for my mom. She abuses and mistreats her pans. I was pretty worried she'd wreck these pretty quickly. She's been using them for about 2 months now. They're as nonstick as the day she got them and that's after her scraping at these and cleaning them with iron wool. I'm honestly very surprised. She doesn't know who Martha Stewart is, but she certainly likes the pans. Everytime I go over she's using these.
