I’m a big skincare girl—I don’t play when it comes to my products—so this is a very honest review. I originally planned to buy a different toner from Byoma, but I ended up choosing the Brightening Toner, and I’m so glad I did. I have fairly good skin, but it can be a little sensitive around my jawline, and I lean toward combination skin. I was looking for a toner that could remove any leftover dirt after cleansing, while still being gentle, hydrating, and improving my overall skin texture—and this checked every box plus more. My skin feels consistently soft after using this. Not just temporary softness—it actually lasts. I’ve also noticed my skin tone looking more even, and my dark spots fading faster. After my period, I tend to get breakouts that leave behind small dark marks, and this toner has definitely sped up that healing process. It gives a light exfoliation without being harsh, which makes it perfect for both AM and PM use. I’ve been using it every morning and night since I bought it. I have other toners that I love, but I constantly reach for this one. I apply it with a cotton pad and gently sweep it across my face, then press in whatever is left for extra absorption. It layers beautifully with my other skincare—no pilling, no irritation, just smooth application. This has easily become a staple in my routine. I don’t always find products that show real results, so the fact that this one works and is affordable is a huge win for me. I’ve already recommended it to my sister and a few friends, and they’re loving it too. I’m almost out and will definitely be repurchasing without hesitation. Makes my skin feel so much better after a hard day

I've been searching for a replacement for my old REN exfoliating toner since they discontinued it (😭) and I'm so glad i found this!!! I was freaking out bc without a good exfoliating toner my makeup always ends up so cakey and REN was the only one that actually worked for my wonky combination skin type. But this byoma is just as effective as the REN and 1/3 the price! Love the cute bottle too:) thank youuuu

I use this on my mature skin before applying makeup. Works wonders as a primer for makeup. A little goes a long way. Apply slowly as you get near your eyes. Love this product.

Gentle and effective. I have milia and occasional adult acne, almost any active I used would really wreck my skin barrier even only using a couple times a week, so I could never use it enough to have results. This has really reduced my milia, and helps clear up painful breakouts fast. I use 2 or three times a week, and I noticed improvement within the first few uses. My normal active used to be the COSRX AHA/BHA toner, which was very gentle but needed consistent use over several weeks to notice any difference in my skin, as a busy mom I often forget to do my skincare and like to keep a simple routine. This is the best toner I have found at a great price point.

Saw they hype due to a TikTok influencer. That is what it is. It was too harsh for my skin. It dried out my skin. I went back to my rose water toner from my big box store. I am a 61-year-old female with large pores and T-zone oily skin.

However, I have not used it yet, but I recently received the bottle, which was not sealed and part of the toner spilled into the rapper of the pack.

I love this product. My skin really does feel clean and fresh after using this. I also wonder if this toner has contributed to an improvement in my melasma aswell. I will be buying it again.

Nice product, feels good on skin, if you have blemishes it does sting a little but not for long, makes skin brighter, a little goes a long way. Good value for money, would purchase again. Product lasts a really long time as a little goes a long way which is great.
