I'm giving this 5 stars because it is one of the few child seats suitable for a toddler over 50lbs. The steel structure is solid. The bolts and nuts that come with it really would benefit from washers, but there are none. The instructions are worse than useless; you really do have to figure out (based on quantity) which screws and nuts go where. You WILL need a vise grip in order to hold the screws through your rack to tighten them with a wrench - the small wrench provided only goes so far in its use. You want your child to be safe on this item so tightest is best (but remember you should probably provide your own washers). Someone from the marketing/packaging department needs to rewrite the instructions - the photos are only so good. There's probably a youtube video out there but my wife didn't give me time to find it/watch it because she wanted to get the child seat installed for a ride (I spent probably 3 hours searching/reading reviews to find one that would actually be suitable for a growing toddler). My 3 year old granddaughter is over 50lbs (she's tall and a bigger kid) and she fits well in this; and she really likes it. We did not install the "extra" safety bar because it probably would have penned her in. I would like to see something like this built better with tighter fitment; but for the price it is what it is. Would I buy it again: yes Would I provide my own washers and nuts/bolts in future: probably yes I'm giving it 5 stars because it works and the child likes it. I feel it is secure on the bicycle but the instructions are almost-the-worst I've ever seen.

So far I like the seat it fits my three old well but the directions for putting it together are crap so it made it a pain to put it together. But it seems sturdy and my daughter seems comfortable in the chair so for the price I am not unhappy with it.

Love this seat for my kid. She loves going with me on bike rides and this has a nice seat belt harness so she isn't going anywhere. It was a very and quick installation. Highly recommend.

The instructions on this or rather lack thereof completely ruin this product! There isn’t even a video or abything other than 4 pictures. One side of the paper says contact me for help. The other side says contact us for help. There is ZERO contact info, so I’m not really sure how I’m supposed to contact anyone for help! You will be given 5 different lengths of screws, it’s up to you to decide what length to use. As for the nuts, some fit most didn’t. I ended up going to locals store to purchase additional hardware. I would have sent it back except my child was very very excited to have this chair. Which brings me To my next point, the seatbelt is completely useless! It will not secure your child. It won’t secure anything! It’s not even secured to the seat! I do not and would not recommend this item!

This seat was very hard to put together and we had to bend the front rod because I could not sit on my bike seat fully with it being in the way. Also had to fix the straps so they would stay on my child's shoulders. It does its job but has some adjusting to do.

Very good. Easy to install and operate. Very safe and strong. Children like it very much.

Bought two, one for each of our e-bikes. Like mentioned in most reviews - instructions were totally worthless. Clearly whoever wrote them doesn't have a good grasp of the English language which is annoying if that's the market you are selling too.. Ended up watching the video clip here on Amazon to figure out how to install which that isn't great either, but it helped. Took way longer than it should have. Mounting hardware to our rear bike mount BARELY worked.. - we have two Puckipuppy Samoyed E-bikes. They have been sturdy so far, I check on the bolts and nuts regularly and they haven't budged. But honestly, I wouldn't recommend these seats to anyone. Not worth the headache and my gut is telling me that the mounting hardware is not safe enough to be putting our kids on. Might return these the more I think about it - or I'll go find some better hardware at Home Depot to really secure these things so I can ease my conscience. Not worth risking a child's safety over saving a few bucks.

My son is about 40 lbs and sits in it well, the straps could be better but overall I love it.
