DAP DryDex Dry Time Indicator Spackling, Pink/White, 32 Oz (7079812330)

This product has an amazing technology that changes color to indicate when it’s dry. It’s easy to use, easy to paint, and requires hardly any sanding if you know how to use a potty knife. It’s also easy to wipe with a damp sponge or cloth to smooth out everything and make it flush. Overall, it’s a great product that I would buy repeatedly.

It’s great that it applies pink, then dries white when ready for sanding. I HATE doing drywall, but at least with this it was a bit easier. The consistency of the “mud” is perfect! You get a lot of it too. I bought my last bottle at ACE and it costed me 2x what I paid here. I didn’t think to check Amazon for this before, but I’m glad I did. I didn’t have any issues with my bucket arriving broken, or leaking in any way. I think maybe others might have purchased during a hot streak. The heat would make it expand in the bucket, and it would rupture. So, that’s something to consider. I bought mine in early October, with temps in the 60-70s. I also noticed that this blend was particularly easy to apply compared to others I’ve used. Requires less sanding that way, which is really great. Clean up is a breeze; water and your hands will do. I will not buy any other type from now on. This will be my go to. I hope my review helps. 😊

Bought multiple multiple of these and they do the job every time. I like the pink it’s cutesy but obvi dries white and solid. Works super well have used this on small and large patches alike does the thing time after time. Not messy and very smooth and easy to work with.

It spreads easily, fills holes well, and sands down smooth without a ton of effort. Great for small repairs and touch-ups around the house. Only reason for 4 stars: it’s not anything groundbreaking, and for larger jobs you might want something a bit more heavy-duty. But for typical patch work, it gets the job done without making a mess of things. Overall, it’s one of those products that just works—and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

This went on smoothly and clung to the wall nicely 😊. I made the mistake of buying “light weight “ spackling in the past… wants to clump. Sticks to itself but not the wall. When you try to spread the stuff, it comes loose from the wall. 🫩. This is very easy to work with and the color change is a bonus. It’s white when dry! I saw a review complaining that it dried yellowish pink. They also said dried soft.. DUH 🙄 still wet….

Better price than home depot and quicker delivery time too. The product is easy to use. It tells you when it’s dry by turning white.
