ZELUS Weighted Vest for Men Women,Adjustable 4-32lb Vest, Removable Weights

I am very glad that I did not pass this up because of the negative reviews. I did a lot of research before buying this vest and I am confident I made a good decision. There was a faint smell when I first opened it but it went away. I don't know if some vests smell more than others or if some people are just sensitive but I barely noticed the smell and it did not transfer to my clothes. Having the ability to adjust the weights is great but I've maxed out the weight so that isn't a big plus for me anymore. It is pretty comfortable considering it weighs 32 pounds. It fits very well and does not move around (I'm 6 feet and 210 pounds). It is a bit challenging to put on and take off because it does weigh 32 pounds (but it is hard to blame the vest for that). I've had no issues with leakage of the sand. A big plus is that you can store your phone and keys in the front (many competing products have the storage in the back). If I wanted to find something to be critical about, it would be that maybe offering other colors would be nice...I live in Arizona and yes, I walk in the heat with it and black is probably not the best color although it may not make much difference.

This vest is comfortable to wear and allows you to build up to the maximum weight. Adjusts well to hold the vest to your body. Something to consider if you have any upperbody mobility, make sure you have the strengthen to lift it over your head to get it on.

Warning!Item is heavy as hell.You can, of course, take some of the bags out like a weenie but I choose to suffer like a beta man.I was impressed with my being able to cinch it snugly around the waist.Some of these vests are “Newly Hired ICE Agent Sized” and there’s just WAY too much play around the gut, even when cinched all the way, which often causes these vests to move around too much if you’re running.Did you guys see that footage of the various ice agents attempting to run?THAT was funny, it was almost as if they were wearing weighted vests, and in a sense, they were.

The reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm 5ft and due to it being made for both men & women, it's too long & the front tends to slide up due to that. The vest is made of good material and is as described. I did read the reviews before purchasing & several complained about the smell so with that in mind when I take mine off I put it in one of those scented trash bags and because of that have not had that problem with mine.Hope this helps.
