I had an extremely disappointing experience with this suitcase purchase. Unfortunately, the product I received was defective. The stitching along the zipper is faulty. When the suitcase is packed and zipped, it does not hold properly and items can potentially fall out.What makes this more frustrating is that the defect is not visible during a basic inspection. The suitcase appears perfectly fine when empty, and the issue only becomes evident once you begin packing. By the time I discovered the defect, the Amazon return window had already closed.To make matters worse, although the product is covered under warranty, the only option provided is repair at a designated service center. This center is located in a far off and highly inconvenient part of Kolkata. The area is extremely congested, with severe traffic and virtually no parking available. As a result, I now have to spend over ₹1800 on cab fares just to drop off and collect the suitcase.The after sales service has been equally disappointing. The staff are neither polite nor proactive. Timelines communicated are unreliable. They often promise early completion but fail to follow through, with no updates unless chased. The overall approach lacks professionalism.This entire experience has caused significant inconvenience and mental stress. It raises serious concerns about the quality checks conducted before dispatch, whether this oversight was negligent or deliberate. Additionally, the poor after sales support and unhelpful behavior from American Tourister staff have only added to the frustration.At this point, I am also uncertain whether I will receive the repaired suitcase back in time for my travel.

I am very happy with this travel bag. The quality is good, the bag is spacious, and it has enough space to carry clothes and other travel essentials. The material feels durable and the design looks stylish. The zippers work smoothly and the bag is comfortable to carry.Overall, it is a good value-for-money travel bag and I would recommend it for short trips and regular travel.
