I have purchased K&F products in the past but this is my first tripod from them. I read all the reviews and have to agree that this is an excellent tripod for the price. The build quality is very sound and the features including the ball head top notch. The tripod is very compact when folded and as an added bonus it comes with a carrying case. Many tripod manufactures have eliminated carrying cases in order to keep their prices down. So far, I have not had any issues with this tripod. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a reasonably priced, sturdy tripod.

I have a studio grade professional Bogen tripod, but it is heavy. I needed something that was easier to transport. I purchased this tripod based on many reviews, features and comparisons to other professional level tripods that were 2-3x the price. This unit is light and very well made. It's so light, that under high winds, you will need to weight it down. The unit is very versatile. It has the same features of the more expensive tripods. (Save money for your lenses.) This K&F Concept X-Series tripod comes highly recommended.

This tripod is really solid. I didn’t realize how big a difference a sturdy tripod can make until I compared it to what I had. My only knock on this was having to place the center post in from the bottom in order to shoot low photos…..but I found a good (and relatively inexpensive) work around that doesn’t require me to view things upside down…..I’m thrilled with this tripod and expect many years of service from it. If you’re a novice photographer, this will definitely up your game!

This was a fantastic buy for a carbon fiber tripod. Everything works really well. My only gripe would be I wished the ball head had a lock to release the plate from the ball head. All other ball heads I’ve had (even a cheaper version) had a spring loaded lever to release the camera from the ball head. This one only has a knob that tightens or loosens but you really have to make sure you’re holding onto your camera and lens so that it doesn’t topple off the ball head. Other than that, the tripod will well made, lightweight but sturdy and easy to operate.

I needed a lightweight, full-height tripod to carry around with me for walks and location shoots. This is a sturdy tripod that can handle the weight of a DSLR with a 600mm lens. I don't worry about the ballhead not holding. Overall, this tripod does the job. There are two things that I wish were different purely because of my preferences. I wish the legs had toggle/buckle locks rather than screw-down. The toggles are quicker and less prone to collapse. I also wish the bullhead's plate holder had a flip & lock in place mechanism rather than a tightening friction screw. I worry the screw might loosen while moving the tripod and have my camera fall along with a loose plate attachment. So, for the time being, I make double certain that everything is screwed tight and I hold the camera when bouncing the tripod around.

Very nice tripod, sturdy, light and seemed well made. However the 3/8" nut in the base of the ball head was loose and allowed the head to shift 1mm - 2mm. This was new out of box this way. I called K&F and opened a ticket. After a week and no response I called back. Again they said someone would address it and reach out to me. I thought this would be an easy fix, but there has been no contact. I am returning the tripod and will try a different brand. I bought this as a mount for astrophotography and was looking for a more robust tripod from the K&F I bought 2yrs ago. I am happy with the 1st tripod so thought I would try K&F again. For long exposure astrophotography the mount needs to be completely stable for up to 5 minutes. This was supposed to be K&F's strongest tripod and it shows in the price. There is one additional feature that I did not like about the tripod. The center post, which can be raised, is keyed in the shaft. The center post CANNOT be ROTATED. My 1st K&F tripod was not like this, the post could be turned. Because I was mounting a tracker to the tripod this was a problem. The ball head was then mounted to the tracker and camera on top. Nuild quality and customer service have forced me return this and try a different brand.

I've only used it once so far so I can't say how long it will last or how much abuse it can take but I can say it is very well built, as sturdy as can be and I would buy it again. Also, the ball head is smooth and works very well. K&F has never disappointed me so far !

Been using it mostly as a monopod in football matches, and it's great as a tripod, a great improvement from the cheap ones I had before, way more stable and sturdy. It gets high enough to where I need for most of my shoots.

A mio parere un treppiede che vada bene per tutti e per tutte le situazioni fotografiche non esiste. Se lo porti con te nelle escursioni nella natura deve essere leggero e poco ingombrante ma deve essere comunque stabile anche alla massima estensione. Il K&F non è il più leggero sul mercato ma ha una altezza massima di oltre 1,7 metri e chiuso è lungo solo 50 cm. Ha 4 sezioni e quella finale, più piccola ha un diametro di 19 mm. Quindi è stabile e robusto. I sistemi di fermo sono robusti e facili da azionare. La testa a sfera non ha la precisione di una micrometrica ma si muove fluidamente e se la serri bene non si sposta. Rapporto qualità prezzo ai massimi livelli !! Ora ho avuto il tempo di provarlo per qualche mese e devo confermare le prime positive impressioni. Mi ci è voluto un poco di tempo per familiarizzare con i sistemi di blocco delle gambe (ho un altro cavalletto Manfrotto con chiusura a leve) e con la regolazione e il blocco dei movimenti della colonna e della testa. Una volta capito che tutto va serrato a dovere il cavalletto è stabile e rapido da regolare. Non è piccolo, anzi è un gigante, ma è ben ingegnerizzato e si trasporta con facilità. I movimenti sono fluidi. Sono contentissimo
