In love!
First let me say that I'm newish to the uke (or any other stringed instrument for that matter). But having said, that I've listened to a lot of instruments and read a fair bit about the audio qualities of different types of wood. With no reviews of the UKT-410 I felt I was taking a bit of a risk, but a relatively small one at such a low price, as I'd been considering ukes at twice the price. I love it - the sound is full, "golden" and relatively mellow for a tenor, without too much toppy attack to it, which to my ear is ideal. The semi-matt finish is quietly beautiful without looking too ostentatious, and the overall construction seems really good. After a week of tweaking, the strings are holding tune, the action is fine and I really can't find fault with it. As I said, I'm fairly new to the uke, but a friend who's an experienced player (and has a far more expensive instrument) was blown away by the sound it produces - and two guitarist friends who've played around with it, are now considering buying one. Amazing price - I'm properly impressed.
