ActiveSol El Pavana fit over sunglasses, for spectacle wearers, UV400 protection, polarized

This is the second Active Sol Polaroid sun glasses that I ordered. I was very pleased with the first one and wanted to order more. I even told my friends about this and sent a link for them to order. They fit over my spectacles perfectly and the Polaroid glasses are a real treat to my eyes as they block glare and harsh sunlight. The build quality is very good and the finish is amazing too. Lightweight and it does not press very hard on the side of my head. Unlike other fit-over sunglasses that I have used, this one does not increase bling-spots while driving which is great. I just wish it came with a storage box...it does come with a good quality carry pouch.

I chose these sunglasses (brown colour) as they looked so good in terms of style and design. Once they arrived, I have to say I found them to be even better than I anticipated, well made and really good quality. They fit perfectly over my glasses and look great. The top rim is not too deep, as some other over-fit glasses can be. The lenses are really good, although they have not been fully tested yet as the usual British summer has brought more rain than sun so far! I have no hesitation in recommending these glasses.

Overall these are excellent. They fit perfectly over my regular frameless specs without coming into contact with the lenses. They are comfortable to wear and can cope with the wearing of a face mask. I’ve currently given them 4stars due to the number of reviews stating that the reflective coating wears off- time will tell. Although they come in a very nice box, I still think they’re over priced as they do not even include a sleeve to protect them when not being worn and, as they’re slightly larger than the normal specs, it’s hard finding a case to fit. Despite the ‘moans’, I am very pleased with these

They look better than I thought they would. Fits well over glasses. Used a lot and still not broken ...I did wonder how long they would last.....very good quality lenses excellent sunlight protection and not too dark for driving. Highly recommend. NOTE: I store them in a very good container which I think is why they have lasted so well....don't think they would survive much "abuse."

Very plastic not the quality frame I expected. I know not expensive but a shame as they fit over my glasses just cheap feel and look

Now needing varifocal glasses and paying extra reactive lenses was disappointed to find they don’t work in a car, so spend another £400 on varifocal sunglasses or try over glasses. Looked at cheaper versions but I believe in you get what you pay for, and these do deliver. Easy enough to put on one handed while driving and work a treat, probably better than standard sunglasses. Build quality is good and expect them to last some time, very comfortable, but not worn for long periods but do not expect any problems and their lens totally reduce glare. Probably the best driving decision I have ever made

Fitted surprisingly well, looked good but after a couple of weeks the lens coating has worn off. Not used any chemicals or cleaning products other than usual t-shirt which is disappointing because it was a good alternative to prescription sunglasses!

Nice looking sunglasses purchased May 2020 and not much used. Definitely not worth the purchase price!!! Sunglasses broke 14th August 2023 due to flawed/weak plastic hinge design also highlighted by French reviewer 14 June 2021

Als Brillenträger war ich auf der Suche nach einer einfachen Lösung für sonnige Tage, ohne ständig zwischen normaler Brille und Sonnenbrille wechseln zu müssen. Diese Überbrille erfüllt ihren Zweck perfekt. Sie passt problemlos über meine Brille und sitzt trotz des geringen Gewichts sehr angenehm. Besonders positiv überrascht haben mich die polarisierten Gläser. Spiegelungen auf der Straße werden deutlich reduziert, wodurch das Autofahren wesentlich entspannter und sicherer wirkt. Auch der UV-Schutz macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Augen werden selbst bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung angenehm entlastet. Dank der breiten Seitenteile kommt deutlich weniger störendes Licht von der Seite durch. Die Linsen lassen sich zudem leicht reinigen und bleiben durch die schmutzabweisende Beschichtung länger sauber als bei anderen Modellen, die ich bisher genutzt habe. Für Brillenträger, die eine preiswerte und komfortable Alternative zu einer Sonnenbrille mit Sehstärke suchen, kann ich diese Überbrille uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Klare Kaufempfehlung! 👍😎

En randonnée, j'utilise cette paire de lunette, par dessus une paire qui normalement fonce au soleil. Mais quand j'utilise une casquette, elle ne fonce pas! Très légère; s'adapte sur toute mes montures; protection bien couvrante; s'enlève et se remet rapidement ( quand on rentre en zone ombragée, je les glisse dans une petite pochette que j'ai au cou). Sinon elle est dans ma voiture car je trouve plus rapide de les mettre par dessus mes lunettes de vue plutôt que je changer de paire. Un concept super ! et un produit de très bonne qualité! question esthétique : j'ai hésité avec le modèle plus féminin, à peine plus lourd. J'ai privilégié la légèreté. Pour l'usage dans la voiture, l'autre modèle serait plus esthétique. Je conseille vraiment ce produit.

Fits well over my glasses and doesn't look too bulky. Happy with my purchase.

Ya son las segundas que compró. Son muy cómodas para llevarlas encima de las gafas graduadas, no pesan nada y me permiten conducir con ellas. Por la noche también me sirven para mitigar los destellos.
